Advantages: Low in points, low in fat, tastes good
Disadvantages: It's not Cathedral City lol
I've been on the WeightWatcher diet for coming up to two months now, and the number one thing I have missed more than anything was cheese! I used to eat a lot of cheddar, sandwiches filled with delicious wedges of creamy cheese, and it'd go into my cooking on a regular basis as well, we love cheese and potatoe pie in this house!
So it was incredibly difficult realising that just 10g of cheddar would cost me one of my daily points, 10g is hardly anything at all! Then whilst taking my Nanny shopping in Morrisons (I don't usually shop there myself) I discovered this little gem, it's grated and comes in a resealable packet, and 30g is just 1.5points, half the points value of normal cheese.
As to taste, well it's not Cathedral City (my personal fave!), but it is still creamy and tasty and went down very well with WeightWatchers Pitta Bread and a salad for my dinner. I gave some of it to the entire family and they all ate it without complaint (except for the youngest who threw his tomatoes back at me, but that's a whole other thing!). All in all I would say that it is definitely a keeper and will be worming it's way into my fridge again in the future.
It cost me almost £2 for 200g, but that lasts a while when you portion it out correctly, and to be able to eat cheese again I would certainly say it is worth it!
Summary: I need to buy more for my fridge!
