I will be reviewing Wyke Farm's simply gorgeous cheddar. I bought this cheese on offer in Asda for £2 for my sandwiches. I don't have a particular brand loyalty, though I do tend to choose branded cheese over supermarket cheese, as cheese is their speciality so its guaranteed to be quality. Compared to other brands I have tried, I particularly enjoyed this brand of cheddar. It was described on the packet as being "selected for its strong and rounded flavour". I have only recently started buying wyke farms cheddar, after I noticed one of their varieties on offer at the supermarket. Since then I have tried most of their products, and have not been disappointed, but Just Delicious cheddar is my favourite. This cheese isn't too strong, yet has enough flavour to let you know you are actually eating something. In short, it provides the perfect balance between mature and mild. It goes very well in sandwiches, as well as grated on to pasta or pizzas, and would, in my opinion, make an excellent choice of cheddar on a cheese board, as it is the type of cheese no one would find unpleasant.
