Maxi Cosi Priori SPS ... down by the five-point harness. I can tell that this seat is well designed by the way that the harness fits so perfectly. It's also good to know that this seat has a superior side-protection system. We often used the recline function when my son was younger, so he could sleep better during long car journeys. This mechanism is easy to operate both ways. But even without reclining the seat, he always looks comfortable when he's asleep, without his head bobbing around. Fitting the car seat is not rocket science, but you do need to follow the instructions to do it properly. Britax Solo Travel System ... the buckle is a little tricky if your not used to them as you have to hold the prongs on the sholder straps together and push into the clasp on the bottom but you will soon get the hang of this. The material on the car seat never faded even though it spent most of its life in direct sun light which i was impressed with as all the car seats i have brought since have faded. It has a hood which can protect your child from the sun but it isnt water proof although you can buy a rain cover for this car seat for £15 from mothercare but i never had one so cant realy comment on this. The First Years 3-in-1 Booster Seat ... that my 16 month-old can do if he concentrates but as there are no clips or catches there’s nowhere for little fingers to be trapped so it’s not an issue. Once folded the tray can be clipped onto the seat to prevent it from opening (it won’t open unaided in any event) making it very compact for travel and easy to carry. Talking of the tray, it fits onto the booster seat very easily and has three positions making it possible to get an ideal fit for baby. There are two handles on either side of the tray which need to be squeezed to get the tray to fit onto the seat but this is easy to do and not at all fiddly.
