Advantages: Confortable, looks cool, exellent safety features.
Disadvantages: None
Our son had his previous car seat for just over a year and a half when the safety belt buckle on it broke - that car seat was supposed to be from birth up to 4 years - not a chance! For safety reasons we couldn't just replace the buckle so we decided to look for another car seat. We looked around at the usual places, Mothercare, Toys'r'us etc... we where shocked, to say the least, by the prices those places charge for car seats - not an excuse I know but no wonder so many people don't bother using them. Well, as we are extremely safety conscious people we were prepared to pay the price but not before finding the right seat. We decided to look on the internet for one and saw the Brevi Grand Prix seat. A stunning looking piece of equipment! Suitable from birth up to 4 years. It can be installed rearward and forward. It is padded and is very comfy. The harness are easy to adjust. It wasn't a simple task to fix it into the car because there is some extra catches to ensure that it doesn't move off the main seat, but now it is in and not going anywhere, unlike our previous seat, which constantly needed to be reajusted. The Brevi Grand Prix has extra side impact protection, which is very important to us as this car seat would have to go next to the door due to the arrival of our new baby boy (we had the old car seat in the centre of the car). It can be reclined up to 5 times. And last but not least, it is made of a very soft black leather look alike material which not only looks very smart, but is also extremely easy to keep wipe clean. Very convenient with sickly newborn or/and messy chocolate eating toddler... The Brevi Grand Prix cost us £69.99 at Kiddicare.com, considering the safety features on it and its good looks we thought it was very good value and decided to buy a set of two for our toddler and our newborn.
