If you need to use it in a car (maybe using a hire car or grandparents) which doesn't have Isofix there is the option of fitting it with a seatbelt as well. You do need to adjust the height of the straps whilst the seat is not fixed in though, however, it is quick and easy to do with the adjusters on the back of the seat, it gives full instruction on how to adjust...more

Premium Review Britax Duo Isofix: A safe and easy to use car seat (497 words)
by - written on 13/07/09 (Very useful, 61 readings)
Rating:

This seat is a 9-18kg or 9months ot 4 years approx seat. It faces forwards in the car so baby/child can see where they are going. The harness is a 5 point harness and is fully adjustable to fit all sizes. It also has a multi recline option which is accesable via a small handle at the front of the seat. Having deliberated for ages about which seat to get for our daughters 'big girl seat' we finally decided on this one for a number of reasons. the main reason being it is Isofix. This means that it fixes securely into the chassis of the car with the easy to use Isofix hooks. These are fitted in most family cars made in the lst 5 years or so but are easy to check ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Very safe child seat for your precious little one (161 words)
by - written on 13/06/08 (Useful, 227 readings)
Rating:

Isofix means that you can fix the child seat via rigid link to the car seat. You have to check whether your car has a Isofix hooks. Check your car manual and see whether hooks exist behind back seats. There are metal rails underneath the child seat which are hooked to the Isofix points in the car. That is much more secure link then adult seat belt which is used by many other seats. The shell of the child seat is also very good - strong and rigid. I am very confident that it offers great security to my child when I put it in. The seat is for childer form 9m to 4 years. You can basically use it when you child starts seating. Harness can be adjusted for height very easily. ...  Read the complete review
