Simple to use, but not particularly comfortable (Britax Ranger Car Seat)

Advantages: Simple to use

Disadvantages: Not enough head support or cushioning

I bought this seat for my 3 yr old as it is transformable into a simple booster seat, so will save having to buy again. Plus points is that it is light and simple to use. Transferring between cars is fiddly until you get the hang of threading the seat belt into the 'lock-off'. I'm suprised that it is recommended for children as small as 9kgs and think it entirely unsuitable for this age group as there is little by way of head support and of course it doesnt recline. Fine however for the older child on a short trip. If I was buying again i probably would choose one with more head support/cushioning.

Summary: A budget buy, great for short trips with the older child (3 plus).
