Having a 3 year old, I have had a few car seats. We started off with the baby one and moved up at 12 months a forward facing car seat, but recently my 3 year old is just too big and the straps on her previous britax just were not long enough. My daughter is quite a petite 3 year old and doesn't weigh the reccommended 33lbs or 15kg, so I needed a car seat which would suit our needs. After looking about at all the usual websites like Britax's own and babies r us. I then went out to the shops to investigate the Cruiser Plus carseat from Britax whose car seats I had used previously. This Carseat was suitable from 9 months - 6 years ... Read the complete review

I have to agree with Lonnie and Nix, this is a great little car seat. It is so light and easy to swap from car to car, after lugging 'Rock a tots' and the 'freeway' between our cars, this is just bliss. It weighs next to nothing but still gives good support and the gadget for adjusting the seat belt height is great, you can sit the seat belt in exactly the position you want over the child's shoulder. The cover just zips of for washing, we've had ours for over a year and there are no signs of wear and tear yet, despite being clambered over buy a small boy with very dirty boots. We got ours when Harry was 2 1/2 and I think that was about right, I ... Read the complete review

We use this seat as a pop into different cars seat and as a extra seat in our own car for friends kids. It is a lovely light and easy to adjust seat that fits well to any child as there is a little head adjuster that regulates the seat belt so the child does not get the belt straight into his/hers ear. I would not feel comfortable with a 9 month old in the seat I feel it is better used for a slightly older child but for a child off around 1 to 1 1/2 I would reccommend it highly. It has a easy come of cover and as it is light it is easy to travel with. My child seems comfortable in the seat, as does 3 other children that I on a regular basic drive around. Only ... With my second child we bought a Britax Cruiser, which was a moulded polystyrene seat, which uses the normal three-point seat belt, as the harness for the child and the seat. The seat was just the right size and it looked very comfortable. After she grew out of it, I started using it for my nephew. I looked after him while his mum went to work. After two children using the seat it became very worn looking, I search and search the shops for a new Britax Cruiser replacement cover, there were none available. The only replacement seat cover I could find was for a Britax Super Cruiser. I thought it would be ok to use the seat for my third, but on a journey home one day, ... Read the complete review

I cannot rave on enough about this product as I have found it to be all I expected and more in a child's car seat. Firstly, Britax claim that it will fit most brands of motor vehicle. I have heard no end of horror stories where parents have bought a car seat only to find that it will not fit in their car(s). My husband and I both have Fords and am pleased to report that we haven't experienced any difficulties. The seat is as light as a feather so easily transportable when the need arises. I found that my son was getting into all sorts of funny positions while in his first car seat - the rock-a-tot. Now he barely moves at all which is ... Read the complete review
