Advantages: cute, colourful, easy to fit and wash

Disadvantages: uncomfortable for long journeys

We needed to buy our daughter a new booster chair as my husband took her original one out while he was trying to fit some bits of wood on the back seat and left it stranded in B&Qs car park. He went back about fifteen minutes later but it was no where to be seen.

My little girl is nearly eleven and hates the thought of having a booster chair, apparently she is the only person in her class who needs one, but she is a tiny little thing and so there is nothing we can do.

The one we had before was a hot pink colour with lots of bright flowers and she quite liked it, but after unsuccessfully trawling through every shop in three different towns looking for a similar thing we settled on this Little Miss Naughty one from Argos.

The base of the booster chair is a bright purple colour. It is made of a strong light weight plastic. On top of the base to try and make it a little more comfy is a hot pink cushion, it has a picture of little miss naughty driving her car. The cushion is quite thin and my daughter said It was not very comfortable, her other one was heavily padded in foam and so I think this hard one was a bit of a shock for her pampered bottom.
The cushion attaches to the base by velcro, it can be removed and put in the washing machine. The base can be wiped clean.

The chair is easy to fit as it doesn't require any pre strapping, you just pop it on the seat, sit on it and put the seat belt on as usual. The little hooks at the back of the seat keep the seat belt in place.

The chair is a group 2-3 seat, it is suitable for 4 to 12 years. or 15-36 Kg in weight. You can use it with a three point seat belt or a lap belt.

I bought ours from Argos costing £12.99, I think this is a good price for a cute and girly booster chair, but I think it is only suitable if you make short journeys. We drove to Wales last week which for us is nearly a seven hour drive, although we broke the trip up with several stop offs, I couldn't expect her to be uncomfortable for such a long time so I borrowed a friends comfy padded chair.

I think if we ever lose this one, I will most certainly choose comfort over colour.

Summary: A good priced, easy to use booster chair but not that comfy.
