With our son getting older it was no longer practical to have him on my lap as this only got him frustrated. He was ok for short periods but longer journeys began to become a nightmare. So with this in mind and the fact that we would soon have a car of our own we had no choice but to buy a car seat. Looking through all the normal channels, i.e. Argos, Index, car shops and nursery stores, we had realized just how expensive car seats actually are, I mean you could get a cheap run around for some of the ridiculous prices that were being ask. Unfortunatly, children have a habit of growing, and it wasn't long before my son had outgrown his first stage car seat and we were looking for a bigger one. We spotted the Jeenay Courier in the argos catalogue for only £40. It seemed to be good value, because it was meant to last until age 5. We couldn't understand why a lot of the other seats seemed to be in excess of £100 so we purchased this seat. It fitted into our car no problems and was easy to install. The cover is removable and machine washable. The seat however isn't very comfortable at all, has hardly any padding and when we installed it, it seemed to be a bit on the small ...
