I signed up to test car seats with Mother and Baby magazine when my son was 10 months old. We had a range of 7 models and this was one of them. This was one of the best seats that we did test. It is very easy to fit into the car, it isn't too heavy, the straps can easily be adjusted to the child by the simple pull of one strap and the cover is very easy to remove, and also washes/drys well. The seat fits very well into the car as it is quite slim, therefore, still allows enough room for another two people in the back. It can be used from birth up to six years. I bought a Klippan Futura car seat when my son reached 9 months old, although this seat can be used rearward facing from birth I must admit that I would have been rather cautious about putting a tiny newborn in it as they would have looked distinctly "lost". However, for an older baby or toddler it offers a comfortable, well padded seat which will suit a child up to around six years of age. Up until four years the child uses the straps and after that they use an ordinary seatbelt. Although fitting the child into the seat is simple I have personally found fitting the seat into the car is virtually impossible! I don't seem to be able to keep the ...
