We have found the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix Infant Carrier to be a excellent car seat. Our little boy was born 4 weeks early so he was very tiny still when he came home from hospital. He looked lost in the Maxi Cosi seat but with the Newborn support and with the car seat being a fairly laid back he was very comfortable.

Compared to some infant carriers I found it fairly light weight. I was avaible to buy in a wide variety of colours from black to red and pink or blue and green.

It is easy to fit into your car, either using a 3 point seat belt or there are 2 bases available to buy, either the the Easybase which is for cars without Isofix or the Isofix base. With the base it is very simple to put in and out of the car literally with the release of a button.

The car seat is compatable with a wide range of pushchairs on the market we have the Quinny Buzz and it fits so easily onto our pushchair frame.

The seat also has a hidden suncanopy, which can be found at the back of the seat and is easy to get out and fold away again.

When our little boy reached around 4 months the Headseat is removable to give him more room in the seat.

We also chose the Maxi Cosi as after researching various seats Maxi Cosi seem to have excellent safety reports.

Summary: We love the Maxi Cosi seat
