I bought my twins car seats before they were born so I could have them ready for them coming home from the hospital. I choose maxi cosi as a brand because Halfords recommended them to me not only that they were on special offer at the time.

The first thing i liked about them was they are small compact and light to carry. Maxi-cosi cabrio came with head huggers and hoods on them. They have three adjustments to put the shoulder straps up or down so can grow with the child. Each strap and even the clips had black padded belt protectors on them making it soft and comfy for baby. The main reason i liked maxi -cosi was the side impact protection meaning in a crash if hit side on the car seat will be able to take it and still protect the baby.

The car seat is easy to install in the car as the belt straps across the front into two arms and then one clip around the back takes seconds to do, when done the seat is stable and stays in place. These are rear facing seats.

Maxi-cosi cabrio car seats are from birth and did Hannah and Jess until they were around nine months old before we upgraded to the stage up maxi cosi seats.

All covers and belt covers come of easily for washing and clip black on, can even be put in the dryer. They are velour type material and slightly padded to add luxury comfort for baby.

Maxi cosi have loads of extra accessories to buy including the zebra print covers, matching head huggers, rain covers, hoods, fixed base for the car all at an extra cost. The covers come in loads of designs and colours.

I loved the baby seats my daughters were extremely comfortable in them. They were light to carry even with babies in them.
