We bought two of these car seats for our twin sons. We wanted car seats that would last a decent amount of time which is why we chose this convertible car seat. It is suitable for 9kg/20lbs - 36kg/79lbs, or from 9 months onwards and has three modes. First, it is a high back booster seat with a five point harness. then it can be used with the car seat belt and then it converts to a booster seat. It can only be used front facing. The seat is fairly easy to install, and the instructions are printed on the side, should you ever forget. Once in, I was satisified that it was very secure. Once my daughter was nearly 9 months old, we started to look for a new car seat for her. We wanted one that would grow with her so that we didn't have to buy more later on. We looked around and found this one in Mothercare that fitted our needs perfectly and bought it around April 2010. The Mothercare Sola Car Seat is a group 1-3 car seat. It is therefore suitable for 9kg/20lbs to 36kg/79lbs which is approximately 9mths to 11yrs. It starts as a highback booster with integrated seat belt, then converts to a highback booster using the car seat belt and lastly converts to a booster seat. It is forward facing and has no adjustable seat or back. It has a five ... Read the complete review
