... and a half years ago, I have found them brand new on Ebay for £30 at the moment and Argos although there is £10 off in Argos at the moment so it should be £39.99.
The seat is for groups 0-1 which is approx birth to 5 years old or birth to 18kgs. The seat faces backwards for from birth to 9kg although we never tried this as we needed it for the stage 1. From 9kg the seat is forward facing and stays like this until 5yrs/18kg or when the child simply outgrows the seat. When my first daughter was around 8 months old she started to outgrow her starter car seat, even though the seat was supposed to be for up to a year our daughter was too tall and her feet were getting crunched up against the seat and her head was heading for the top of the car seat. As we hadn't expected to have to change the car seat so soon we were al little short on the pennies and started trying to find a car seat that was going to last but also didn't cost the earth.
