A well priced product for the amount of use it says you will get from it

Having exhausted our original car seat, we went searching for a new one, finding this one during a 10% off time in mothercare. The description says it will last us up until our child is about twelve years of age so we decided that the money spent out now would be worth it in the long run.

It comes in a huge cardboard box with a set of instructions that are clear and easy to follow. However getting to the instructions is difficult due to them being placed behind the first padded insert of the seat. Once you find them though they are helpful! The material is a suede like material that is soft and comfortable. The seat comes up high at the back with a headrest that has panels on the side to protect and support your child's head from the usual bumps in the road! there is an insert that you put in for first use which is what we are currently using. This is for smaller babies, and gives extra padding and allows them to fit into the seat more snugly. There is no assembly required it is ready to use straight out of the box.

The seat is easy to install in the car, requiring the normal car seat belt to go through a couple of attachment points. The normal seat belt goes through the back of the seat so doesn't go around the child but this is not a problem due to the five point harness on the car seat. There are two arm straps that clip together and then clip into a central point in the bottom of the seat.

Once fixed, your child is secure and and comfortable. I like that this seat faces forward as our previous one didn't and our son prefers to be able to see what is going on! The seat is also styled like a small racing seat which appeals to even the most sensible dad! My husband loves this seat for the way it looks but also thinks that it is one of the best purchases we have made for our son.

Having not converted it yet I cannot comment on the longevity of the product, however currently it seems like a practical, long lasting and well made buy.
