I got the Silver Cross 3D pushchair so it made sense to get the matching car seat, infact I didnt even look at any others. It fits onto the 3D pushchair, not as easily as other models and does make the pushchair very bulky and heavy to push but its nice to have the option when baby is young.
Its easy to fit but is very bulky and from speaking to others ive realised it doesnt fit alot of cars as the seat belts arent long enough to go round the back of the seat and over baby's lap.
There is a cushion you use for the newborn baby's meaning its very snug and safe and it can be used in two positions for when they have grown a bit.
The hood is good as it comes down really far to shade baby, and when the seat is on the pram it meets the pram hood so baby can be completely enclosed. It also has an apron which is easy to fit and means you dont need a blanket. The handle can be moved into different positions to make it into a rocker or a seat which is useful but its not recommended to keep baby in a car seat for more than two hours due to the pressure on their spines.
It did get quite heavy to lift as my baby grew but it lasted him a long time and we will use it again for our next baby
