Bean bags are great fun and such a simple thing. Bean bags are sealed material bags that are mainly aprox 15cm by 10cm and filled with dried beans, PVC or expanded polystyrene. As they contain very small parts they are only suitable for children under three if they have adult supervision. Bean bags are great for kids as they are easy to catch and throw as they do not roll away so no running and chasing the ball when the little ones does quite catch the ball. My little girls love to walk around balancing bean bags on their heads which I remember doing as a kid on sports day, guess they will be well practiced by the time they start ... Bean Bags are an ideal thing to have a couple scattered in the lounge, great for extra seats for when people come and visit. They are also great for kiddies rooms for them to be used to chill out on whilst reading a book or magazine or playing on a computer game, or as a seat to watch a bit of television.

Bean bags are cotton like material with bean like things inside. I don't suppose that it would be hard to get inside these are therefore would probably be safe for children but I personally would not give these to a child unless they were above 3 years old unless they were supervised Bean Bags ... Bean bag, not the sort you sit on. I have played with many bean bags in my career working with children .They are a really good alternative to a ball can be used for the same games. Bean bags have the advantage of not rolling away are usually softer than a ball, they do not bounce or roll though. Some of the bean bags I use at work are about 4 inches square some slightly bigger at about 6 inches these are more rectangular. They are bags made of fabric and filled with beans the bag is completely sewn up the beans enclosed. You can buy bean bag balls and many other bean bags in many different interesting shapes some animal ones frog ones ... Read the complete review
