Haba are a wood manufacturing company known for high-quality baby and children's toys, as well as children's games and furniture. Haba toys are available from a variety of on-line stores as well as in certain toy shops throughout the UK and beyond.
My little girl loves to be creative and that usually involves a certain degree of mess; however, we were lucky enough in that Santa brought her the Haba Toys Springtime Butterflies Tack Zap Hammer Game and it is just perfect - it allows for creative play with minimal mess !
The Haba Tack Zap Hammer game is available in a springtime butterfly version for girls, a truck / vehicle version for boys and a unisex version which consists of geometric shapes, etc. The game is also available in two sizes: small and large and the number of shapes within the game is reflected on this.
The game consists of a cork board, a hammer, various wooden shapes which in the butterfly version can be used to create butterflies, flowers, etc and little pins. (The little pins are sharp but not too sharp but I would advise that play is supervised just in case any end up on the floor as that could prove to be quite painful!)
Playtime with the game is endless, my little girl has spent hours creating different butterflies and flowers using the wooden shapes and pins available, she literally puts the pin through the centre of the shape and uses the little hammer to secure it to the cork board which is great for co-ordination and creativity.
Despite hours worth of play, the cork board shows minimal signs of use. The wooden shapes are well decorated and are brightly coloured with an easy to find little hole through the centre which allows them to be attached, using a pin to the cork board and the hammer is lightweight and easy to use.
This is a great game to help improve co-ordination whilst allowing your little one to be creative. The game is really good quality and although the shapes have being hammered in time and time again, there is no sign of damage to the decoration or paintwork. I'd definitely recommend it.
