All hail the best gift I ever bought my son! We came across this adorable trolley in a childrens toy shop near our home but no matter how much my son liked it the £50 price tag was a huge turn off. I took a picture of the trolley and started an internet search at home to see if I could find it cheaper.
The trolley is made by a company called Melissa & Doug and the official website is www.melissaanddoug.com
The first company that came up in the search was buy 4 less online. They were selling the same trolley by the same manufacturer for £26.47!!!!! I couldn't believe how much the store had jacked the price up. My other half researches every purchase online and over the years I have become the same and it makes so much sense! I've saved on a number of things.
From the buy 4 less:

The product says it is aimed for children 4 years plus but my 2 year old loves it. We previously had the ELC plastic trolley which is great except that he leans on it and that sometimes makes it fall over. The Melissa & Doug trolley is sturdy and almost an exact replica of the ones you use at the grocery store. My little man takes his with when we got shopping and we get lots of comments and people asking where we bought it from.
I brought the trolley in from its home in the boot of my car so that children coming for my son's birthday party could have a play and it was a hit with all the children.
You may notice from the picture that the trolley has a mini baby seat and just to let you know it folds just like the real ones. That's one of the questions I've been asked about before so thought I'd put it into the review.
I read on the net that there was little to no assembly required which had me wondering how big the box would be. It arrived in a box the size of a standard washing basket and the only assembly needed was to clip on the baby doll seat and then slot the bottom with the wheels into place. It took me 8-10 minutes tops and my son was overjoyed when he saw it. Even my older son (7yrs) evjoys pushing it around (don't tell the kids at school!).
A huge recommendation from me! A+
