Mookie Bubble Cook Kitchen
Advantages: Brightly coloured, robust, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Not wide enough, too much crammed into one kitchen
Two christmases ago Asda did a load of £5-£50 toys all at £15 each one of the toys was this kitchen and so my Grandma bought it for my daughters Christmas present. I haven't ever physically seent his kitchen for sale apart from in this one event in Asda. I have looked the kitchen up on the internet and as usual Amazon sell it and it will cost £26.96 and comes with free delivery.
The kitchen comes in quite a large cardboard box as the kitchen on the whole is already assembled whic h is great as it meant on Christmas morning my daughter could pretty much play with it straight away without waiting for it to be built. The box is mainly white in colour and has the kitchen pictured on it which is brightly coloured and then there is a statement that there are 14 pieces to go with the kitchen and that the kitchen is suitable for ages 1 1/2 to 5 years.
The main part of the kitchen is ready built and is made of hard plastic, the bottom part of it is red and has a lilac door on the front which is for a fridge and then there are shelves at the sides. The bench of the kitchen which also has a sink and pretend tap and hob is green and then the top of the kitchen which has more shelves and a microwave is orange. The kitchen is noce and brightly coloured so looks perfectly in place in a young girls bedroom, it also comes with a couple of stickers which you have to put on such as a little clock and a front for the microwave showing food cooking inside.
In the set you get a grey plastic pan with a handle on each side and a lid that sits on top of it, you get some pink utensils and plates, some pretend food such as a chicken and some boxes of pretned food too so you get enough with the kitchen to be able to have a great game of pretend kitchens.
My daughter loved this kitchen for about a week and then she got bored of it, it seems that the makers have tried to cram too much in one kitchen and it's not really big enough, there is no space for your child to pretend to actually make the food due to the kitchen not being very wide and already having a hob and sink on the surface. The kitchen is pretty robust and is still actually in my daughters bedroom as she refuses to put it away although it is gathering dust at the moment it is easy to wipe down so it'd not an issue. I think if I had the choice again I would buy a bigger kitchen where my daughter could fully play kitchens as she ended up prefering just to play with a teaset instead. It is a decent budget kitchen but it is obvious it is a budget brand.
