Clippasafe Corner Cushions
Disadvantages: Have to scew holes in table to get them to stay on no thanks, sticky pads dont work cheap plastic
I tried to wrap my girls up in cotton wool before they had even been born :-)
before they were walking i had bought some safety products ie, cupboard locks, window locks, toilet locks , plug covers and these corner cushions.
The clippasafe corner cushions cost £1.99 for a pack of eight from ebay.
These come with instructions that look way complicated for what the product is so probably best you don't read them.
So the clippasafe cushions are shaped corner cups all clear with small sticky pads on the side that goes on the corners. I needed these for my kitchen table it was from ikea wooden and has very sharp corners so upon buying these i decided to try them out. You turn the corner cushion upside down to peel the white sticky pad paper off then simply place on the corner and push down to get the stick pad to stick.
These come off the corners very quickly as soon as i wiped the table witch a cloth i was picking the corner cushions of the floor to stick them again and again and again. Hannah and Jess worked out how to get them off by pushing them underneath not even hard and pop they are off again.
I got so fed up of the corner cushions they got flung in the bin.
I should say that the pack comes with tiny screws to actually screw the plastic corner cushion on to the table but really did not want to damage my table by putting screws in it, my table is white it would be noticeable when removing the corner cushions.
Hannah has bumped into the corner of the table and hurt her eye but apart from that the table has not been a problem as they got used to being careful around it.
I honestly cant recommend the corner cushions they just don't work , have tested them on other things to and they doesn't stick hopeless.
Avoid the clippasafe corner cushions.
Not many people will agree with me but sometimes it is best to let children have a little knock so they can pick themselves up and get on with things without feeling to traumatised because they fell or bumped there head, no more cotton wool for my girls but i am not saying hey girls go play with the moving cars so please don't jump at my statement.
