One of the items we decided to buy to baby proof our house were some plastic corners for our tables and around our fireplace. Our house is a new build and we have a gorgeous stone fireplace but the corners are so sharp and lethal that we needed to cover them up someway as taking the fireplace out was just not an option and its the stone bit that juts out so you cannot get a fireguard to go around this part too.

In principle these are a great idea because I have seen kids bump into corners of things all the time and really give themselves quite a bump on the side of the head or a cut on the eye so I knew this was something that I wanted to stop my own kids from doing. These clippsafe corner cushions are basically little plastic edges that fit over the corners of your tables and things like that and prevent bumps and bangs as they are rounded and quite a bit softer than the table itself. 

The corners fit onto things quite well as they are bendy and so you can fit them onto your corners. They have little sticky pads too so you can stick these corners onto your furniture and the theory is that they will stay in place. However, that is my issue with these corners, they do not stay in place unfortunately. They are ok if you don't touch them but they are like a moth to a flame for my little boy, these are the first thing he will reach for and finds it really easy to remove them so it really defeats the purpose of having them there in the first place. When they have stayed in place and he has knocked into the table they do work quite well as he never seems to hurt himself but they didn't stay in place enough for me to keep them there so we have now removed them. 

The nice thing is that the sticky pad did not do any damage to our proper wood table so that is good to know if you are able to leave them on there for quite a while. All in all a good idea in principle but they do not work as well as they should.
