The moment my back is turned Hannah and Jess loves nothing more than playing in the fridge and taking food out this mostly always results in eggs being splat on the floor and lumps of cheese being chewed yes my girls are little monsters.
After weeks of mess and me trying hard to keep my eye on them at all times it proved to much so i decided to buy fridge locks well truth to be known i did not know they existed until searching the internet.

The reason i went for the clippasafe brand was because i had used their products before and they are miles cheaper than everyone else.

The clippasafe fridge lock costs only £1.70, these can be bought in most good baby shops including online shops.

The lock comes in a blister packaging with instructions on the back of the card, it explains how to fit the lock with diagrams easy to follow.

Clippasafe fridge locks are universal so with fit most makes and models.

How it works is with adhesive pads , there are two parts to the lock one long part that sticks on the side of the fridge the adhesive pad is already on just peel away the paper and stick on the side, the other part is a small corner hook has two edges and also has the adhesive pad on it peel and stick it has to be inline with the other part.
The loop attachment is the part on the side of the fridge and the hook should be on the door, the loop that clips onto the hook is pretty flexible and when the door is closed the loop part can be pushed away from the hook allowing the fridge door to open, when closing the door the hook and loop attach themselves without me having to touch it.

I love the way the fridge lock works very simple design but really works, i was in two minds about this one due to the stick adhesive pads but the fridge lock has been on for nearly one and half years has never come off, makes me wonder how easy it will be to come off but i am guessing i will have to scrape the pad off the fridge when finished.

The fridge lock stopped Hannah and Jess and they were frustrated at first but they quickly got to know they cant get in the fridge and don't bother now.
