My little boy learnt to walk when he was very young, it was before his first birthady and once he had started their was no stopping him and at that age they can be quite unpredictable. My little boy could walk alright but he had no sense of where he was going or how to slow down once he got there so we thought the only option for him was to get some reins. Ok, so it looks a bit like you are walking a dog when your child has these on but they are definitely a great safety tool when you have a very young walker. According to the Clippasafe website, "We've made our name designing harnesses and reins. They not only allow toddlers the freedom and ... Read the complete review

We bought a Clippasafe Standard Harness and Rein set once our child was toddling about really well and wanted to walk alongside the pram/ push chair. This stage for a toddler is always a time when they want to explore their surroundings and see everything there is to see. Mums and dads can do with a helping hand during this phase and thats where this Clippasafe set comes in very useful, by adding a little bit more piece of mind for everyone, with careful and thoughtful usage. ********************************************************* These Clippasafe Safety Reins have been around for many years and come in a variety of colours and slightly ... The Clippasafe harness seemed ideal for my daughter. At 6 months old she is more mobile and enjoys sitting up in her coachbuilt pram when we are on our daily jaunts around the villages. However, most harnesses seemed too big; this was the exception. In principal, these adequately serve the purpose for which they are designed. Sure enough, they fit Leah nicely, not too loose, and they adjust well to fit her in any situation. I have just the one complaint about these, albeit a major one :- Who on earth came up with the design for the rein and anchor strap fixings?!!! These consist of a semi-circular button which slots into the corresponding ... Read the complete review

I used these clippasafe reins on my son when he was a toddler and found them to be very useful The reins fit on the child easily, they slip over the arms like you are putting on a painting apron and the 2 sides lock together with a push in clip. The reins sit around the childs tummy and over both shoulders so there is no chance of it pulling and hurting the child as the restraint is spread out. The reins also have an anchor strap at the back which is for the adult to hold. This is attached to 2 parts on the back with the same press button clasp. This can be adjusted and made shorter or longer depending on how much freedom you want to give to your ... Read the complete review

I bought these for my son when I was preganant with my daughter as I wanted him to learn to walk not sit in a buggy all day been pushed around. When I first put these on him he decided it was a game and span around causing the rains to twist around my hand. He did not have enough room to breathe with his coat on even though they can be used up until they are four. When we were out and about he was always a couple of steps in front of me which was good ,but when he wanted to go in one direction and I wanted to go in the other I had to pull him back and always thought the rains were gonna break.I also found the rains twisted around peoples legs(not good when you are in the .
