      a good soothing toy

When my daughter was born, she slept in a moses basket by our bed. When we moved her into her cot, she had her favourite teddy for company, but we wanted something that would play a lullaby for her.

We came across this Winnie the Pooh teddy soother. At first I was disappointed that it didn't come in pink, there was little choice or variety. However it is available at most toy shops, and we bought it in 2009 for approx £29.99. I believe it still retails at a similar price now, although sometimes cheaper when on offer.

Whilst she was in her Moses basket, we placed this on our bed so that she could still hear it and see the colours. When she went into her cot, we put it in the cot with her. The age suitability is birth onwards. The unit requires 3x AA batteries which are not supplied. They are securely fitted into the plastic battery pack inside the pillow. The pillow is secured with velcro, but even if baby manages to open the velcro, the battery pack is screwed shut and has to be unscrewed to open, so there is no danger of curious fingers causing trouble!

Winnie the Pooh wears a blue outfit and is attached to a white 'pillow'. The pillow is actually a thin pillowcase covering the battery/sound pack. It is not soft at all, nothing like an actual pillow. It is rock hard, and if thrown about, it would hurt! The pillow has some cloud designs on. It has a colour changing feature, so when switched on, the pillow lights up in a random order of colours which glow softly.

There is a musical tune that plays, quite loudly, but soothes baby to sleep. There are also various sounds such as Winne the Pooh yawning, and saying "I'm so sleepy" and "night night". The voice is gentle, as you'd imagine a teddy bear to talk. The music is a gentle lullaby but is actually quite loud! There is a 'nature' mode which plays nature sounds instead of the lullaby, such as birds tweeting. There are 10 lullabies which are pretty similar. You can also set it to have only the coloured lights and no sounds.

A handy feature is the purple parental control - a small handheld unit with a carry handle, that has buttons on to change the mode and switch the unit on or off. This requires 3x AA batteries (not supplied). We found this very handy as it means you can control the unit without disturbing baby or waking baby up.

The unit also has a timer which you can set via a switch inside the pillow on the battery pack. It can be set to stay on for 5, 15 or 30 minutes. This is handy as it means you don't need to disturb baby to turn it off, and you can decide how long it needs to be on for, rather than having to keep turning it on or off.

My daughter loved this, she loved the teddy and was mesmorised by the lights. The lullabies are soothing and ideal for small babies.

The only downsides to this product is the sound - it is very loud and can't be turned down to a quiet setting. Also, the 'pillow' which houses the battery pack is very hard plastic, there is absolutely no padding, so it is not comfortable to have near baby in the cot, nor could it be cuddled. However, you can still put it at the other end of the cot, or like we did, on a nearby table etc.

All in all, an excellent soothing toy. Well worth the money.

A great baby soother from Fisher Price

Fisher Price Lullaby Soother Winnie The Pooh

When our little one was first born, we were given this Fisher Price Winnie the Pooh Lullaby Soother as a new baby gift. Although the cradle was in our room at first, when we moved our youngster into her own room, this little soother came in very handy especially as getting our little one to sleep in her new room became a small ordeal.

This soother is slightly on the expensive side, possibly due to the fact that it is Fisher Price as well as Winnie the Pooh. It is on Amazon at the moment for around £27.00 though I have seen this for a slightly lower price in the Argos sale. Got to love the sales!

This Winnie the Pooh soother is suitable from birth and has lovely rainbow coloured lights which come from the pillow which Winnie the Pooh lays upon. Alongside these lights, is some very soothing nature sounds which combined, really helped sooth my little one. The fascination with the lights was the beginning and then it seemed as though the lights and music combined mesmerised our youngster until sleep took over. The transition from our room to the small room became a lot easier once we had found this out of the cupboard again, and the cries died down until a few nights later, our little one seemed to 'want' to go to the bedroom to look and listen at this soother before drifting off to sleep.

This soother comes complete with a parent activated remote control which enables parents to change the music from nature sounds to lullabies which is quite handy as the music can be changed without the baby seeing mummy or daddy and becoming restless again. There are ten of these extra lullabies and all as soothing as the nature sounds.
This soother takes quite a few batteries; three AA batteries for the remote and another three for the soother itself.
Although quite a high price, this soother really helped our little one when they went into their own room and I would fully recommend it to all.

BUY THIS SOOTHER YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

WINNIE THE POOH THE ANSWER TO A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP!!

The Winnie the Pooh Lullaby Soother is the perfect toy to help get your little prince or princess to sleep at night. I bought one when I had my little girl and I have used it from day one with great success..with the light on the pillow and soothing lullabys playing the soother helps my little one to sleep every night...I still use it to this day and found the remote control a master-stroke by the designers as it means you can turn the lullaby off when your little one is asleep without having to get up out of bed and disturbing them.

***IS IT A TOY I CAN TRUST??******

The Winnie the Pooh lullaby soother is made by Fisher Price, which is massive worldwide company with an excellent track record of making safe childrens toys. Also on the toy is a lion mark which means the toy has been safety tested and is regulated to ensure it is a safe and trusted toy. There are no small pieces that could fall of of the soother which could be a choking hazard...In my opinion a very safe soother.

****HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY???******

The Winnie the Pooh soother costs £21.99 now but it cost me £26.99 but it has been worth every penny as we have used it every night since our little one was born. Included in the box is the Winnie the Pooh soother and a remote control that you can use to turn the soother on and off. Also included are instruction of how to use the soother but it is very straightforward...just insert 6 AA batteries!!?? ( alot of batteries which needs changed every couple of months but no major problem as it is so effective you won't worry about the cost of new batteries as the soother ensures a good nights sleep!! ) and the soother is ready to light up and play its lullabys ready for sleep time.

****WHAT DOES THE SOOTHER LOOK AND SOUND LIKE???*****

As you will have obviously guessed the bear is Winnie the Pooh and he is lying down with his head on a pillow which helps your little one observe that it is time to put their head on a pillow too....well I guess thats the idea not sure if it works tho. The pillow lights up when the soother turns on and gentle changes colours from light blue to purple etc which is very useful when putting the little one in a dark room helping them see that they are not alone...they have Winnie with them. The soother also plays 10 different lullabys, sounds and words that can be chosen...we found a certain lullably put our little one to sleep better than other so just stuck with that one. There is also a setting you can choose how long the soother plays for e.g 5, 10, 15 mins etc.

****OVERALL : IS IT WORTH THE MONEY???*****

Without a doubt you must buy this soother either for yourself or for someone you know who is having a baby becuse this is an excellent toy that can be used at night to help put your little one to sleep and if used every night at bed time then your little one will recognise the sound and lights that they will let them know it is time for sleep time.

I hope my review helps anyone who is looking for a soother to help those sleepless nights or dreading the sleepless nights ahead...no worries Winnie is here to help!!!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

Wonderful, lovable soother that really works!

This is the best £25 you will ever spend!

The Winnie the Pooh Lullaby Soother was the only thing that helped either of our children get to sleep and gave us some much needed rest!

Pooh is lying down and can be placed in your baby's cot or pram. Pooh's body is soft and cuddly, with the sound unit placed in the pillow Winnie rests his head on. Pooh. This unit can be removed to allow Pooh to be used as a cuddly toy and lets you wash him if needed, ours has been through the washing machine more than once and is still in great condition and ready to be used for the next time! The soother plays a lovely song, lullaby music and bird sounds which fades off towards the end to lull the baby to sleep, and mum and dad too! There is a lovely soft light on the pillow too which provides comfort to the tired child.

But the best bit about this is the remote control, allowing the parent to be in control of when Pooh goes on and off when the child is young. Very handy when you are lying in bed during the night, you can switch Pooh on and let him soothe baby back to sleep. It saved us having to get up out of a cosy bed more than once! The remote control also has a handy carry handle so it can be hung up when not in use to avoid it getting lost. As the child gets older they will be able to switch Pooh on themselves by pressing the button on the pillow, very handy if your child wakes during the night or if you misplace the remote control! The only downside was the times our children accidentally rolled onto Pooh and set him off, giving both themselves and us a fright!

We used Pooh every night, more than once some nights, and found the battery life to be very reasonable in both the main sound unit and the remote control.

We love the Winnie the Pooh Lullaby Soother so much that we have purchased them as presents for all our friends and family who have had babies! We tried many other means of soothing our baby to sleep before finding Pooh, and none of them worked as well. The type of music, length of music and soft lighting, along with the lovable Pooh himself, all combine to provide the perfect bedtime companion for your baby, every home should have one!

the best toy i have ever bought. Easy to use, long lasting, BRILLIANT!

THE Best £25 i have ever spent!!! I bought this for my daughter when she was a baby and she had it in her cot from about 6 weeks old. WOW what can i say she loved it! it has 3 time setting of 5mins, 15min and 30 mins when she was tiny we would have it on for 30 mins then as she got older we changed it to 15 mins. the soothing sounds really helped to settle her of to sleep and the lovely soft changing lights on the pillow. by the time she was about 1 she figured out how to turn it on herself, RESULT! if she woke at night time she would simply press the pillow and go back to sleep to the sounds of winnie :-)
my daughter is now 5 and STILL has the pillow in her bed (Winnie did detatch himself from the pillow after about 12 months ) and she puts it on everynight before she goes to sleep and still at 5 years old if she wakes in the night she will put winnie on to send her back to sleep! it does come with a remote control meaning you can turn it off and change the sounds without disturbing the child but to be honest we have never really used the remote.
We love this toy so much that we now have 2 of them as my 14 week old daugher now has one in her cot too (older daughter not willing to give hers up yet! ) The batteries last for quite a while too even if you have it on for 30 mins each night.
Worth Evey Penny! And SO hardwearing.

            Advantages

            My review

I got this for my daughter one Christmas she was only 6 months. It is really cute and she had a winnie the pooh theme going on in her room so I decided that to treat her to this.

It is basically Winnie the Pooh night time lullaby that plays soft music and also shines a gentle light to help baby drift off to sleep with ease. Winnie the Pooh rests on the pillow and it is really soft so you can put it in beside your baby in the cot. The light is shines from his pillow and changes colours but isnt too bright to keep your baby up at night.

It includes a remote control that can be controlled from the other side of the room. Great for peaking in the door and turning it on while she is restless. I liked this feature because it saved me from having to disturb her. I found too that if she actually saw me she would just start crying and want to get up but with the remote I could sneakily turn Winnie the Pooh on and he would guide her back to the land of nod.

I think she spent more time staring at him than actually being lulled to sleep. It still kept her quiet though! The music can be turned off if you want and it can stay on as a night light but I found myself leaving the music on.

It is quite expensive at 25 pounds in Argos and I think this is a joke considering you will only get a few months use out of this. I stopped using it at 9 months because my daughter started to turn him on as she rolled over in her sleep and he started to actually wake her up! It also eats batteries which is a real pain as AA batteries are expensive.

I liked it for a month or two and then it became a hindrance. I would recommend getting another product to soothe your baby to sleep and this has more negative effects than positive.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

If it had more functions, like a better volume button, it would be perfect

We originally bought this product because at the time our daughter was 4 months old and we were moving her into her cot in a seperate bedroom, so we needed something to help sooth her when she was left in the room by herself if we wer to have any chance of her getting some sleep. I must say that i was very impressed with the fact that it sent her to sleep within 25 minutes straight away!! Some people say that we are just lucky to have a very good baby but believe me when she slept in the moses basket next to our bed it was nearly impossible to get her to sleep because she was so very clingy.

The Winnie the Pooh soother has interchangable lights which help the child to be soothed alongside the music which is played. There are two tracks which can be played - one is music with nature sounds in the background and Winnie the Pooh occasionally saying "im so sleepy" and "night night". The other is just the nature music, which i have found doesnt work quite so well.
There is the option to have the selected track play for 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes which is just about long enough to let your baby let themselves fall asleep, and chances are that if they havent gone to sleep within 20 minutes they probably wont do for a little while longer.

The product comes with its own little remote which allows you to change the volume, which track to play and to turn on or off. Unfortunatly this requires batteries and is rarely used in our household but is the only way to change the settings on the main unit which is ridiculous. The only setting which can be changed without the remote is how long the music will play for, which is change by a tiny switch located on the battery compartment inside Winnie the Pooh's belly.

There is one major problem with this soother. It is incredibly loud, even on its quitest setting. It amazes me how my daughter manages to get to sleep sometimes, and think that its the warm milk which makes her nod off instead of the soother! For this reason i dont know wether or not to recommend this product, especially if your child doesnt like noise.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            -

Following my Pooh bear theme it was without a doubt that my daughter would have one of these.

It was larger than I expected when it came down the belt in Argos and I realised that this was not a newborn toy although it said suitable from birth and therefore I wasn't going to let me daughter sleep with it at an early age. When I did get it out of the box for her, I intended to put it on the little table next to her cot so that she had something soothing next to her when her Winnie The Pooh light show wasn't of interest.

Although Winnie the Pooh is soft and cuddly himself with his little blue baby gro on, the pillow is hard and I mean very hard. On closer inspection, I realised that this was beauce the pillow actually housed the musical box. Not the best idea to be honest.

You pull the pillow open with velcro to reveal the musical box which has the time settings on and the on/off switch. You can set the musical/bird noises to last for 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes. There is no volume control which is where I found the problem to be. This is LOUD! And I mean really loud. How it is supposed to be soothing and get your baby to sleep I will never know. Listening to Nirvana at full blast would probably be more soothing! My daughter never fell asleep to the bird noises or the lullabies it played. She just stayed awake as it was so loud. It is absolutely ridiculous how loud it really is.

It comes with a remote control for you to be able to turn it on and off as and when you think it needs to be switched off without being seen by your baby though I did find that this never worked.

The lights are nice though not particularly bright.

My daughter never really played with it and it did end up forgotten in the back of a cupboard until we moved at the beginning of the year when we moved which says it all.

It takes a lot of batteries too - 6x AA which is an awful lot.

It costs £24.99 in Argos and I really don't think it is worth that much money. You are definately paying for the Disney brand in this instance and I wouldn't recommend it, sadly.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

An effective but overpriced way to help your child get to sleep

The Winnie the Pooh Lullaby Bear is made by Fisher Price, and usually retails around £25, which I think is a little dear for a toy bear, regardless of what it does. For that amount of money I'd want it to feed, wash and clothes my kids, not just play lullabys, but luckily I looked online before buying from Argos, and ended up getting on for £8 on eBay. This bear is used to help young children and babies get off to sleep, by playing a variety of lullabys and natural sounds to them whilst they nod off at bedtime.

Pooh is quite a large bear and is dressed in a soft blue all in one romper suit. He's lying down and has his head resting on a pillow with a design of a cloud on it.

Winnie the Pooh comes with a remote control which lets you turn the bear's musical and light abilities off and on from a distance. The pillow which his head is on lights up gently as the music plays, so were it not for the music, which cannot be turned down, this would actually work well as a nightlight on it's own.

The bear is cuddly enough to be placed inside the cot itself although I found the volume level of the bear to be a little high, so I placed the bear for my daughter on a dressing table, somewhere she could see it and hear it, but not close enough to disturb her.

This soothing toy runs on AA batteries and I have found that it uses a lot of juice - thank god for rechargables, as this uses a pair of batteries nearly every few weeks depending on how often we use it.

Overall, I thought that although this sleeping aid was effective, it was overpriced and there's no way I would pay the RRP for it. It was useful and did help my daughter drift off to sleep when she was much younger, but aside from that, the bear is a bit bulky as a toy.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Winnie The Pooh didn't do it for me!

For reasons I have never quite been able to fathom, my wife has always had a thing for Winnie The Pooh (not like that!) to the extent that when we first did my daughters bedroom ready for her first arrival, of course the theme was Winnie The Pooh! Presents we were given upon my daughter's birth likewise followed a similar theme and, though we did get everything Winnie inspired, we did get a large amount. This product was a gift, I believe, from the mother-in-law!

Basically, this is a cuddly Winnie The Pooh laying on a pillow which is intended to gently soothe and coerece your little one to sleep with a little light show and gentle nature sounds mixed with familiar tunes of classical music!

My problems with this product are few between but are I think important ones. Firstly the pillow contains the bit of kit that produces the light and sounds and so, to my mind, is quite hard. The slightest knock and the music begins to play and the lights flicker so if you leave it on, baby has only to roll the wrong way to set it off which in turn could wake him or her up!

Secondly, the light show is quite bright and so can distract baby and keep him or her awake rather than gently lulling them to sleep!

Third and finally, for me, the gentle sounds of water trickling alongside the accompaniment of well known classical tunes makes me feel a little as though I want to pee! This means, that when I used to sit and wait for my daughter to drop off, I would often find myself fidgeting as I struggled to find a position that didn't press overly on my bladder!

This product is priced, at full price, at around £25 so is not cheap either! It is nice to look at however and its appearance is quite cute and sweet. A note to anyone thinking of buying one ~ I have seen them priced on Amazon for £7.99 new!!!!

My daughter never really took to this when she was younger, preferring instead her Baby Tad which sings nursery songs in day mode and, similarily to this, plays classical renditions in night mode but without the annoying water and nature sounds! Still this product looked nice and fit with the Winnie The Pooh theme at the time but I am glad I didn't waste my money on it!

It also comes with a remote control so you are able to turn Poooh off without having to enter the childs bedroom and disturb them to turn it off but I found that it ate batteries quite quickly in my experience! The Remote control requires 3 x AA batteries (not included) and Soother requires 3 x AA batteries (included). And that, to me, is a lot of battery!!!

So, not my favourite of baby products then, but okay if someone else buys it for you!

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              A nice sleep time soother

Bedtime with a younger child or baby who cannot settle, is for the baby / child and the parents, sometimes a bit stressful. Some babies drift of into the land of nod with ease, others just wriggle about, become restless and cannot settle for ages. Then there are the babies who no matter what their parents do, will not snuggle off to sleep without a fight.

For every child there is almost always a solution to the problem and during the restless, can't sleep won't sleep period, we must have tried almost every idea we could to settle our child off to sleep. We bought many of the baby phase toys from car boot sales, parent and toddler sale days and friends.

              **********************************************************
One of the bedtime solutions we tried a cute Winnie the Pooh Lullaby Bear was made by Fisher Price, which is a well known brand from whom we have purchased many items. We were lucky enough to be able to buy Pooh for just £5 from a friend, but I know she paid a lot more than that when she bought the bear from Argos. I think the retail price for this bear is over £25 which does seem a lot to pay, but many of these types of toys do end up being passed amongst friends or sold on, so in the end they can work out much cheaper.

              **********************************************************
I cannot really comment on what the pack that Winnie the Pooh came in looked like as he came au natural when we got him. He is quite a large bedtime bear, who comes dressed in a mid blue soft touch romper suit and is laying his head on a small pillow that has a cloud outline on it. He looks very friendly and cuddly, but is not the sort of bear that is made for hugs.

He is made as a sleep time baby soother and he comes with a remote control which you as a parent can control from a short distance. Pooh bear can be placed along side your baby and some people even place him inside their babys cot. He needs some AA batteries to make him work, these do need to be of good quality so that they don't run down too quickly.

We were not very happy with the idea of placing him inside the cot, so placed him along side the cot on the bed. So that he was easily seen we placed him as close to eye level as we could and he was always very close to the bars of the cot. We also sometimes placed him on the material play mats we had during the day time and this was something the baby enjoyed.

              **********************************************************
This Winnie the Pooh bedtime soother plays a number of tunes and nature noises, at least 8 to 10 and the little pillow he rests on lights up softly while thats going on. The music is a little loud so I wouldn't advise that you place Winnie too close to your babys ears. Its a bit of a shame that there is no volume control button on the remote control as this would have been very handy.

You can set Winnie the Pooh to play lights and sounds for a set period of time to suit your babys needs, or use the remote to switch him off instead. The remote is a good idea as it means you can switch Pooh off if your baby has fallen asleep without going all the way into the room. This is great as babies seem to have a sixth sense when their mums and dads enter the room and wake or become restless.

              **********************************************************
We had some good results from this little bear and whilst he wasn't as effective once our child matured, this little bear was very helpful during the earlier stages of development. I wouldn't want to put this bear directly into a cot as its rather bulky, but felt happy to place it alongside so that it could still be seen and heard.

There are other night time soothers that we used and some of those were more effective later on. I feel that this may be due to the fact that as they grow children associate fluffy little bears with playtime and so want to play more than rest.

On the whole for the time we used the bear he worked well and if you can pick him up for a reduced price he is well worth getting. Not sure I would want to pay the full price for him. I feel he is a 4 star bear, as his sounds are a little loud and could do with a volume control.

Recommended to anyone who has young children

For one of our children we used a star that played music which worked okay, however for one of the others we used this Lullaby Winnie the Pooh product that we managed to pick up for around £10. It was a good purchase and really helps our son who is now about 5 months get to sleep. Anyone who has children knows that sometimes the hardest thing is getting them calm enough to sleep and if they get over tired you have an ever harder job on your hands. This is where this soother comes in and it's great in regards to soothing and helping your baby drift off into a peaceful slumber.

It's a very pleasant cute looking product which helps I think as it's appealing to your baby and is not going to scare them in the middle of the night when it's in their cot. It takes batteries so you will need to put them in, although we've had ours for about 5 months and it's still going strong.

Unlike some toys or other products which drive you insane with their repetitive music, this one is not that annoying and plays nursery rhymes over and over until it turns itself off with the setting you have put on. The setings you can choose are a timer for five minutes or fifteen minutes. There are also a couple of settings you can choose in regards the sounds you want this to make. You can have nature sounds like running water such as a stream or river and birds singing. Also, you can have the nursery rhymes.

As well as the soothing melodies, your baby will love the coloured lights that glow on this product. I highly recommend this lullaby soother as it's really helped us with our son who loves it and aids sleep.

              Disadvantages

              A brilliant night time soother

The Fisher Price Lullaby Soother Winnie The Pooh is a lovely cuddly toy for babies with the added feature of a colour changing night light. This pooh bear was given to my daughter as a gift for her first christmas and there was a time when she wouldn't go to sleep without this toy.

The toy basically consists of a cuddly pooh bear wearing a blue romper suit and lying down on a little white pillow with clouds sew onto it. The pillow is made of thin cotton and has a colour changing light box inside it. When you press the top of the pillow, the lights come on and shine through the pillow case and pooh bear starts to play lullaby music, nature sounds such as birds tweeting and he says various phrases such as "i'm so sleepy" and "night night". There is a switch on the light box which enables you to choose how long you want to music to play for before it switches itself off (5 mins, 15 mins and 25 mins) depending on how quickly you little one can get to sleep.

Pooh bear also comes with a handy parent remote control which enables you to turn it on and off without having to go right into your babies room and risk waking them. You can also use the remote to choose whether you want the music or just nature sounds to play. The remote control also has a little handle on top which can be hung over the door handle on your babies room so that you can find it easily when you need it.

Both the pooh bear and remote control both take 3 AA batteries each - We have never had to change the batteries in the remote control (over 18 months) but I found that pooh bear uses batteries up quite quickly and had to change them every 4-6 weeks.

When we first set the toy up I was a little concerned by how loud the music was and how bright the night light was. It seemed far too bright and loud for my little one to get to sleep. However, when we tried it out, our little one, who was 5 months old at the time just lay in her cot staring at it and eventually after about 5 minutes of watching it she drifted off to sleep. This toy quickly became a big part of her night time routine and we could just put it on the 5 minute setting and know that by the time the music had stopped, she would be fast asleep. She eventually worked out how to switch pooh bear on herself and we would often be woken up in the middle of the night to "I'm so sleepy"!

Unfortunately, my daughter who is now nearly two has decided that she doesn't like lullaby music anymore and gets upset everytime she presses the pillow so we have had to take it off of her, but I am definitely keeping hold of it to use with our next little baby.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

has very good points but also very bad points

My 13 week old son got bought the winnie the pooh lullaby soother for christmas and he is mesmerised by the lights changing from one colour to the next in the pillow and stares at it for ages but far from soothing him to sleep, it keeps him awake because it is so loud! It plays a tune and inbetween pooh says things like "I'm so sleepy" and " night, night". The other downside is that it takes up so much room in the cot as its quite big and the pillow pooh is laying on is very hard so I wouldn't reccommend having it too close to your baby as they could bang their head on it in the night . Its a very cute design but I just wish it had a volume button! Nether the less my baby does love it although it doesn't seem to do what its ment to do.

                It is a must have

I was due to have my baby within a few weeks and wanted something that would sooth my child at bed time to give them a peaceful sleep. My fist daughter slept in with me from the day she was born, not my best of ideas. I think that because of that this is why she is partly a light sleeper and the smallest of noises wakes her up. This is another reason that I thought about getting a lullaby soother. I thought seen as it would been nears her ears well eye level, (for her to see the lights) that it might be noisy and that would keep her amused at night times to encourage her to her own bed and also she would get use to noise from an early age and be a heavy sleeper. Winnie The Pooh has always been a favourite of mines and let's face it the Disney Baby Winnie The Pooh is so cute.

The lullaby is manufactured by Fisher Price, I know this is not really essential but I wanted to include it in my review as I feel that the company really do think about the child's needs when making the toys and I would just like to show how much they put into a think about the customer.

Fisher Price has been around for a very long time. The company has been around since 1930, they been in business to create toys that amuse and stimulate a child's imagination.

Their mission is to support today's families with babies or children young children through their products and services that make early childhood more fun. They stand for giving your child the best start to their life through learning. They are well known for their innovation, quality, durability, safety and good value.

Their products offer our trust that can help improve our family's lives.

The cute Winnie The Pooh soother has beautiful rainbow lights in the pillow that Winnie rests his head on at night time. My daughter seemed amazed by this and thought that it was great. At the age of 22 I thought that it is a great idea and through a babies eyes this much look very magical.

It also has nature sounds that also come from the pillow as well. The sounds will help your son or daughter to drift off to sleep peacefully. I think that it is great that the product has nature sounds available to play on the lullaby soother, as most babies toys like this doesn't have this.

It also comes with a remote control which allows the parents to control the section of music. Along with nature sounds it also plays music. There are 10 soothing melodies to choose from. I am glad that there is a choice to choose from as not everybody is a fan of nature sounds but I do feel that it is very peaceful for your baby to listen to, to help them drift off for a peaceful nights sleep.

The remote control requires 3 x AA batteries and the soother requires 3 x AA batteries. It comes with 1 set of 3 x AA batteries that comes included in the box. I would advice that instead of spending lots of money of batteries that next time you are passing a £ shop that you pop in and but some there. You can get a pack of 12 for £1. Great value and the batteries lasted a full year in my daughter soother and it was on every night.

It is suitable from birth and you can buy it from ARGOS for £26.99. I got mine in the sale for £19.99, although it is a saving of £7.00 you got to remember that the product was in sale and I was very lucky to get it at the price. I do feel that £26.99 is a lot of money for what it is but I also feel that it is worth the money and I would highly recommend to anybody that has a new born or small baby.

I would rate this product 10/10. I do not have a bad word to say about it. I hope that my review was of some use to you. I would just like to take the time to thank you for reading it, it is very much appreciated.
