“ Brand: Lindam / Safety Type: Safety Gates „
I have a niece that’s nearly two years old which is an age that you have to be very security conscious. If you don’t take extra measures on stairs etc they can really hurt themselves. It was only until a little baby girl fell down the stairs and hurt herself that my sister went shopping for extra security around the house. The first thing she bought was a Lindem Two way safety gate which will prevent any accidents on the stairs. My niece loves going up the stairs but she can easily fall down if she loses her balance. Although, my sister takes great care to make sure she is never left unsupervised. When doors are left open she has found herself on the stairs-which is extremely dangerous. The Two way safety gate is a great safety precautions. It is easy to install, one at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top. As long as the gates are shut then you’re child will be safe. They are easy to open for an adult but my niece can’t which is a good thing. They also a good height, not to big and to small so the child can climb over them. There’s nothing special about the Lindem Two way safety gate in comparison with others design wise, it’s design is simple but it is very effective and reliable. It won’t swing open and the anti-pinch hinge is really good so you’re child will not get their fingers trapped. The other big plus about this safety gate is the built in alarm which sounds off when the door opens. The alarm is quite loud and can be heard quite a long distance away and can alert you if the child does manages to open the door. To install you can use you’re drill or the adhesive pads which are supplied. My sister used the adhesive pads and they are really strong so there’s no concern that the gate may come off. The two way safety gate costs £16 and personally I think they are terrific, you hear about so many children falling down the stairs at least
they will be protected. You can buy them from most baby stores or even order them from the catalogue. They give you piece of mind so when the door opens and the child wants to go into the hallway, you no longer have to worry that the baby is going up the stairs.
Built-in alarm immediately sounds as soon as the gate is opened. After a few seconds the primary alarm will increase to a louder secondary alarm should the gate be left open.
