~Tell me all about the Lindam Night Light! ~
**********************************

Lindam have a range of child care items that can help mums and dads with all kinds of baby and child care needs. From stair gates to microwave sterilising items, Lindam have something to suit. Its a name that is well recognised amongst parents and one that can mostly be relied upon.

As we have had a variety of Lindam products in the past, when we were looking for a simple night light to use to very softly light the entrance way between the landing and our childs room we went for a Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light. The light we have was £6.99 from a local retailer and we thought that was a fair price at the time of purchase.

When purchasing our Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light we noticed that there were either multi pack sets as well as single lights. The item we initially bought was the single Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light which is a slightly more detailed looking light than those in the multi pack. You can expect to pay between £6.99 to £8.99 for this product.

Our Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light has a fairly bright sky blue base to it with a lighter off white frosted looking top shade. The design of the light is in a kind of tubular shape, similar to a capsule type thing. It has a simple trio of yellow stars on the top set to one side and it looks neat and compact. It gives off a soft, yet adequately bright light effect.

~How does the light perform?~
************************

To use the Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light all you need to do is plug the light into a free plug socket let the light do its thing. If the Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light is within a normal room setting it will come on once the light in that room begins to fade away.

The light has a light and pleasant glow to it which can be reassuring to both you and your baby. We placed our Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light between the landing and a room as we didn't want our child to be bothered by too much light, but we did want a small amount of light to filter through. We found that by placing the Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light in the right place, it gave just the effect we hoped for.

The beauty of the Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light is that you do not need to set a timer for it to go on or off. It works with the light in the room. This was something we found very helpful at times like afternoon nap time, when a simple drawing of the blinds or curtains slightly would ensure the Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light would come on and give off its simple and effective mood enhancing glow.

The light we bought worked very well and we had no problems with it at all. In fact we liked it so much that we also bought a multi pack set for use along the hallway once we felt the need arose. After all as children begin to be able to climb out of their cotbed or bed you do wonder if you need to factor that into the safety measure in the home. We felt the lights were a sensible measure to install.

~How brightly does it shine?~
***********************

The light this Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light gives off is not all that bright when used in larger rooms or hallways, however if it was to be placed too close to a sleeping child it may appear too bright and interfere with sleep patterns. This is something to factor into the placing of the night light.

The E14 watt bulb in the light can be replaced if need be and the light is made so that the bulb is long lasting when in use. The product is made of a light yet durable plastic. It can be used as a night light not just for babies or toddlers but as something for older children or even adults who prefer some form of lighting in the hall way during the night.

~How do you rate it?~
******************

To rate the Lindam Dusk to Dawn Night Light, I feel it ought to get a 4 star rating. Its a good little idea that works well, but I would urge anyone fitting one of these to think wisely about where to place it when its in use. Its not a good idea to put it within easy reach of a small child at all.

It can be very comforting to know that there is some form of very gentle lighting on in case your child wakes during the night. The fact that this comes on and goes off without the need for programming or timing makes this very handy. We have found the light works well when placed in the right situation.

Summary: A useful item when used safely ad thoughtfully.
