I bought these when I was pregnant with my twins, really I didn't need them as my mum and dads house is so small you can hear a pin drop upstairs if you're downstairs anyway. But these were my first and I wanted baby monitors as I 'thought' I would need them. My son is nearly two and the main reason we still have a baby monitor is because you really cant hear him in his bedroom if your downstairs, he can be screaming his head off and and I would be blissfully unaware.
