 ... the same annoying buzzing noise. I know I bought the cheapest monitors in the store, but still for nearly £20 I still expected Monitors which only gave me the noise of my children I didn't ask or expect any added extras with them unless it stated on the box which it didn't. I came to my senses anyway and decided I didn't actually need any baby monitors and had a full refund, but if I were to buy more I would of spent a bit more money to get decent monitors which done what they are meant to do. I bought these when I was pregnant with my twins, really I didn't need them as my mum and dads house is so small you can hear a pin drop upstairs if you're downstairs anyway. But these were my first and I wanted baby monitors as I 'thought' I would need them. I didn't want fancy monitors, you know the ones you can get with screens on etc all I wanted were basic monitors which allowed me to hear my babies when I was elsewhere in the house and they were in bed. So I found these in Mothercare £17.99 I paid for them. Cheapest ones I could find some were £40 plus but they all do the same thing don't they? How wrong was I to think that! My son is nearly two and the main reason we still have a baby monitor is because you really cant hear him in his bedroom if your downstairs, he can be screaming his head off and and I would be blissfully unaware. Tempting, but I know without one I'd end up sat on the stairs all night in case he needed me. So that's the back story, so off I trotted to Boots with the sole aim of buying the cheapest baby monitor I could get my hands on. I didn't want anything fancy, its only function needed to be to let me hear the thud as he fell out of bed.
