Advantages: good value for money !

Disadvantages: Sometimes reception is very fuzzy !

This monitor cost us £39.99 from babies r us! After buying a video monitor for £100 that broke after 2 days of use, we felt £39.99 for a plain audio monitor was good value.

The monitor is good for when you baby is sleeping in the next room but hanging out washing can prove a problem.This usually depends on what mood the monitor is as sometimes it is crystal clear! But for 40 quid odd you can't complain!

There is a channel selector on the monitors but this isn't much help really.
One of the top features of the monitors is the sound activated lights. If you are in a noisy room then the monitor tells you if the baby is making loud noise (usually crying in my babies case)! We have found this to be very usefull when watching a film or having loud music on as then you don't have to have the sound on the monitor and the lights indicate if your baby is making noise! Very useful aspect!

The other useful fact is that the baby monitor has a night light on it and you can talk on your monitor to the baby to calm an older child down! Brilliant idea!

All in all not bad for the price but if you can afford more then maybe you should consider something more expensive!

Oh and the batteries don't last too long in it so I would suggest rechargable batteries - though they do plug in as well!
