Advantages: Easy to attach to cot...

Disadvantages: Very faint projector. Very loud music. Far too sensitive motion sensor.

We were given this night light as a gift by my partners nan (I believe she got it from a charity shop for a few pounds) although it can be purchased from various retailers from around £15 onwards.

The light itself is made of strong plastic that is predominately blue in colour and features pictures of all the winnie the pooh characters, the front part has a gentle light and at the top is a projector that has a cycle of images going round that are projected onto the ceiling. It attaches to a cot via two plastic straps located on the back of the night light, they have several holes so they can fit various size cot frames.

It uses batteries, 4 x AA, so no wires to worry about..these do tend to run out pretty quickly though and it does affect the lullaby, it quite frankly sounds awful as soon as they start to run low!

The night light features an off/on switch on the back, when set to "on" it picks up on any movement and the lullaby and light show starts which can only be stopped by switching it off completely.

The images projected onto the ceiling were extremely faint no matter how dark the room was and the music was incredibly loud and there is no volume control, every time my daughter shuffled about in her cot it set the night light off and woke her up. Unfortunately I had to remove it from her cot which upset her greatly but we both really needed some uninterrupted sleep! We managed about a month with it on the cot!

All in all this was definitely not a night light for us, I would have been VERY disappointed had I paid full price for this. If you have a baby that shuffles a lot in their sleep I would not recommend this, every movement sets it off!

Summary: Loud annoying light no-show....definitely not a soothing night light!
