With my son only being 4 weeks old at Christmas, I was really struggling on what to buy him that he would benefit from.
After a long trip to toysrus, I found the sweet dreams Winnie the pooh lightshow for £34.99. Although I already had a cot mobile, I thought the lights would help to stimulate his vision and at the same time help him to sleep.

The light show takes 4xAA batteries which are not included on purchase. These screw into the back of the product.
On the back of the light show there is a big circle that screws off so you can insert the light show between the cot bars; the circle is then screwed back onto the light show to secure it in place.

There is a day and night switch on the light show, the day switch lights up the centre piece only which is in your babies line of vision when looking directly at it. This is played with 3 different songs and has the option to touch the characters around the light show to make different sounds.
The night time option also has 3 different songs and whilst the centre light is still on it also projects Winnie the Pooh and friends having a picnic on the ceiling, which in the dark looks very effective.
There is also a volume switch on the device to control sound. An automatic feature is on the projector which I find extremely useful. It plays for around 5-10 minutes and switches itself off but turns back on again when movement activates it.
This is really useful but if your baby is just turning over and not waking up it can get annoying.

I really love this product it makes my son happy at night and is helping him to concentrate his vision and stimulate him as well as getting him too sleep.
