Advantages: Works well, looks good

Disadvantages: None

Now the sunny weather has started to appear I decided it was time to buy a sunshade for my car to put in my little girls window so the glare of the sun would not get in her eyes. She has really started to be affected by the sun and I knew she wouldn't keep a pair of sunglasses on so I though this would be a good alternative.

After a quick trip to Mothercare I found this shade and knew I had to get it as Winnie the Pooh is one of my little girls favourite characters. The scene on the front and back of this shade depicts Pooh and piglet sitting together looking at a flower with trees and clouds in the background. It is really cute and colourful and bright.

The shade is made to protect against sunlight and glare. It is really easy to fit on your car and looks fairly cute and attractive. Basically you put it on the window in which your child sits. Roll the window down a little bit and then it has hooks at the top which you hook over the window. They if you roll the window up all the way this will hold the sunshade in place. The shade then works like a blind and can be pulled up and down . When in the down position it is held in place with a suction cup and then when it rolls up it fits away into the top of the sunshade holder nice and neatly so you don't see any of it. The suction cups provides quite a strong fit but that's not to say that your child will not have fun pulling on the side of it and trying to pull it off the window. So far, it has not come off which is good.

The shade is like a mesh so it has lots of holes in it so you can see through it but not very much and this is the one problem I have with it as I hate for my little girl not to be able to see out the window and see all the interesting things passing by. I suppose she can see through the front and other side window though. The shade measures 35.56 cm x 1.63 cm x 45.72 cm and weighs 0.21 kgm.

The shade cost £9.99 which I thought was quite a good price and like I said can be purchased in Mothercare or on the website www.learningcurve.coom
