Advantages: Looks great; Works as a night light and a torch
Disadvantages: None
My sister LOVES Peppa Pig so it wasn't much of a surprise that she had shedloads of Peppa stuff for Xmas and her birthday, one of the things that DID surprise me though is how much she loves this Go Glow Light that my uncle brought for her.
It's a cross between a torch and a night light and has got a cute picture of peppa all ready for bed in her pyjamas. It's not as big as it looks in the picture and from top to bottom is only 15 1/2cm, that's about the size of one of them kiddies toches you can buy and the shape of it makes it easy for little children to hold in their hand.
It's clever actually because when the torch is on the base that's when it becomes a night light, then the glow is just the right brightness for kids to get to sleep with but as soon as you lift the torch up it is a lot brighter. That means it's good for children who are going to the toilet on their own in the middle of the night, my sister is still wearing nappies at bedtime because she's only just 3 but it has come in handy a couple of times when she had got herself out of bed to either come into me or go to our parents bedroom. Mind you my mum said she scared the crap out of her one night by shining the torch straight into my mums eyes while she was asleep! hahaha!
The Go Glow Light doesn't take batteries, I know.... I nearly fell over when I realised that as well, I mean WHAT toy doesn't take 6 batteries these days??? Well, this one doesn't! It only takes about 20 mins to charge and it's possibly to give it a quick charge as well if you know your child will be going to sleep quickly and won't need the light all night.
I deffo recommend the Go Glow Light, it comes in other designs as well as Peppa Pig so if your child is past this stage you should find one in the range to suit their tastes. I think it's brilliant though, the night light isn't that bright that it's going to keep kids away at night but when you take the torch off the base you'll find it's plenty bright enough for showing the way to the toilet or even just for faffing around with.
My sister plays with hers sometimes in the day and because it's light then she doesn't even notice when the charge has run out!!! She's dropped it a few times but there isn't any damage to the torch or night light, one thing I do recommend is that you put it on a shelf and not next to the childs bed because otherwise they will be up all night playing with the night light and torch when really you want them to go to sleep!
Recommended!!!
Summary: Recommended..... The Best Night Light EVER!
