So so...but I'd rather pay more!

When it comes to chocolate I haven't really got a sweet tooth and count myself very much as a savoury person however my boyfriend really does like sugar and so recently I bought us a little fonduo set and some marshmallows to try out and of course that left me needing some chocolate to melt too.

I spotted a slab of this Asda milk chocolate in a 100g size for 50p and then a 200g bar costs £1.00 and then you get packs of bars of this chocolate at different prices too.

My slab of chocolate came in a dark blue paper wrapper to the outside of it and silver foil inside and on the wrapper we are told who it is by and what it is and that it is smooth and creamy and that it contains no artificial colours or flavours and the weight of the bar is stated. On the back of the slab wrapping other information contains ingredients, nutritional information and contact details for Asda.

      The Chocolate Itself:

Well the chocolate is one long and reasonably wide, oblong slab with lots if indented squares (easy to snap), andis a light milky brown colour and gives off a sweet and chocolaty fragrance.

Taste wise well yes this is a smooth and nice sweetened chocolate really. I wouldn't really say this was all that creamy especially when you think of the likes of Galaxy as an example and for me this is a tad to sweet but it isn't bitter like dark chocolate thankfully (which I really don't like at all!).

This melted for me as I wanted it to with ease, was nice enough eaten alone too however for me it lacked a bit of quality that higher priced 'brands' usually have within them. Not rubbish and certainly edible but be under no isllusions this is nothing all that special and I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this again!
