“ Brand: Asda / Type: White „
I can't help it I like all things naughty and nice so when I was in Asda the other day I couldn't pull myself away from the shelves stocking chocolate spreads until I actually bought one. I'd usually opt for Nutella however this time I chose something different, Asda White Chocolate spread. Asda White Chocolate Spread comes in a generously sized 400g see through glass jar with a brown plastic screw off lid and a brown and cream sticker all around it. This large jar costs just £1, which is a bargain in my eyes! You can clearly see it is white chocolate spread as it tells you on the front of the jar and you can see the white chocolate spread inside too. The jar also informs us that this spread contains No artificial colours, flavours or hydrogenated fat. There is also allergy advice on the jar advising us that this spread contains milk and soya and may also contain traces of nuts and/or seeds. Opening the jar you are instantly met by a sweet chocolate smell, but it has that white chocolate scent about it. It smells just like a milkybar, and not quite as sweet as I was expecting it to which is good. It is extremely smooth and easy to scoop out with both a spoon or a knife, yes I've done both lol. Thanks to it's smooth consistency, despite it being a thick spread, it does spread easily, even on bread. It tastes exactly like white chocolate, sweet and tasty yet surprisingly not sickly which is what impressed me the most. It is a delicious tasting chocolate spread, which tastes equally as good plain on a spoon or spread on plain bread or toast.
