... sweet, warm scent. There are a generous amount of nut pieces dispersed throughout the chocolate. Honey roasted cashew nuts are one of my favourite treats, and it was lovely to enjoy them as part of a chocolate bar. They added a nice crispy texture against the smooth chocolate, and worked well with the somewhat plainer flavoured roasted hazelnuts. The Dairy Milk is as good as always, and is a high quality milk chocolate with a generous dairy content. This Bar of Plenty leaves behind a pleasant sweet aftertaste an...more

Cadbury Bar Of Plenty Hazlenut And Cashew: My favourite Bar of Plenty (342 words)

This is part of a new range of chocolate bars released by Cadburys to spice up their Dairy Milk bars. Bar of Plenty bars come in 140g slabs and cost RRP £1.59. I managed to pick this one up in Poundland for just a £1. The packaging is really cute I like it a lot and it attracted me to the product when I saw it on the shelf. It has a sort of 'Willy Wonka' feel to it with the decorative curling script and the bold picture. The bar looks appealing and is a warm brown colour. It has a traditional chocolate bar appearance with rows of indented blocks, each stamped with the Cadburys logo. It smells delicious with a lovely sweet, warm scent. There are a generous ...  Read the complete review

Nice and nutty but I would rather have Cadburys Whole Nut (600 words)

Whilst shopping in Asda today I noticed the new Cadburys Bar of Plenty for just £1 for a 140g bar so I got one of the Roast Hazelnut and Honey Roast Cashew ones and one of the Berry Fruit and Vanilla Shortcake ones. I decided to try the Roast Hazelnut and Honey Roast Cashew one whilst I sat watching opening game at Wimbledon this afternoon. I love anything with Cadburys Dairy Milk and nuts especially hazelnuts so I knew this was going to be good! The wrapper is the distinctive Cadbury purple - there is no mistaking that this bar is made from Cadbury's Dairy Milk, in my opinion the very best chocolate in the world ever! The wording on the front of ...  Read the complete review

Cadbury Bar Of Plenty Hazlenut And Cashew: Nutty and nice (233 words)

Cadbury's Bar of Plenty Roast Hazelnut and Honey Roast Cashews is one of a trio of new flavours produced by Cadbury as a bit of a twist on the traditional Dairy Milk range. This bar cost me £1.00 for a 140 gram bar of chocolate, good value by anyone's standards but excellent for a decent brand like Cadbury. It is available in all the usual good supermarkets and shops. It is easy to recognise, with its purple foil wrapper and Cadbury logo, and a lovely fantasy style design. First of all, you can taste the delicious Dairy Milk chocolate, then the taste sensation hits you: a lovely big hit of nuttiness: It is actually very similar to the old Whole Nut ...  Read the complete review

Get Some Nuts!! (392 words)

This is the last of three different varieties in the relatively new Bar Of Plenty range from Cadburys who, until now, have always had something of a trustworthy reputation. I say up until now because with this latest promotion, the company seem to have bitten off a bit more than they can chew! (Pun intended!) I am a big fan of nutty chocolate and will always go down the Snickers or Topic route if given a choice in confectionary chocolate. Likewise with Cadburys, I have always been partial to a bit of Fruit And Nut or Whole Nut chocolate so this looked like the ideal bar for me to try especially at a promotional price of £1; a whole 50p cheaper than this bar ...  Read the complete review

Cadbury Bar Of Plenty Hazlenut And Cashew: I'm nuts about it! (255 words)

Ooh la la!!! This is divine!!! I LOVE chocolate and this is without doubt the best bar I have ever tasted. Packed full of nuts this is not your average bar of chocolate! The product was reccomended by a friend and as I love Whole Nut I thought I'd give this one a go. I found it quite hard to locate in my local supermarket. I looked by the other large bars of Cadbury chocolate but couldn't find it anywhere. I later discovered it further down the aisle where the 'posh' bars of chocolate are. The bar is beautifully packaged. It has the purple wrapping typical of Cadbury' Dairy Milk and all it's variations, but this has that little extra colour and ...  Read the complete review
