Advantages: tastier than I remember, lots of ingredients
Disadvantages: can be expensive depending on where you buy it from
ahh the boost bar something I rarely come into contact with but right now there happens to be one half in and half out of my mouth. I remember these being very sickly but to my delight this isn't so bad now. The boost bar is annoyingly too tight in the packet which sounds strange, but when opening this I find the wrapper very hard to pull this down the bar. At first sight this chocolate treat looks tasty and round with a flat bottom and a ripply top giving it a bumpy texture. Taking a bit there is thick chocolate at the end and you bite into a soft chocolate centre surrounded by a layer of caramel and then the chocolate coating. Buried in the chocolate centre is little bits of crunchy biscuit.
The taste test this time was much better than I remember it, The outer chocolate is fine tastes like average cadbury's chocolate. The caramel although there isn't a lot of it the taste is very powerful and delicious, the chocolate in the centre is sometimes soft and sometimes hard which isn't a problem it's nice and tasty and even better when you bite into the crunchy part, it really mixes it up.
This does get a little sickly when you get near the end but I'm eating mine slowly with a cup of tea which does help wash this down. Chocolate is really expensive these days but you can get these in a pack of 4 for £1 at the moment in Asda because my dad buys them for his packed lunch for work and I just stole one which is really good value for money considering these are around 60-70p at a local shop.
The nutritional value of this is exactly what you would expect - bad.
