Advantages: Delish; Wickedly smooth dark chocolate; Thick egg

Disadvantages: It's all gone now!!!

My mate got me this Easter egg because she knows I love dark chocolate, I kept this one back until last because I'm the only one in this house who really likes Bournville chocolate so I wanted to save it for when I was in on my own with a film so I could have a bit of a pig out.

I didn't know you could get Bournville Easter eggs but I'm glad she found it because I sat watching Changeling last night with it and enjoyed the egg and chocolate bars big time.

It's quite an expensive egg, my mate said she paid £7.00 for it in the shop by her but neither of us have seen them in any of the supermarkets. The box looks exactly the same as the one in the photo Dooyoo have got up and it's a lot more grown up than most of the Cadburys Easter eggs and is deffo made more for adults than kids.

You get an Easter egg that is halfway between their medium and large Easter eggs, it's wrapped in gold foil and before you even open the foil you can smell the rich Bournville chocolate. I don't know why but I wasn't actually expecting the EGG to be made of dark chocolate but it is and it's YUMMY! The egg is thick and even a tiny small bite gets you a thick chunk of chocolate to suck on, it doesn't taste exactly like Bournville but is good enough and I reckon Cadburys must have had to change it slightly to get it into an egg shape.

The chocolate melts gorgeous and is creamy and sweeter than a lot of other dark chocolate, the flavour is wicked because it's not as bitter as Green And Blacks dark chocolate so you can enjoy the sweetness more.

In with the egg you get 2 large bars of Bournville, I think they were something like 85g each and that's just the same Bournville as usual and tastes yummy. The bars aren't madly thick but that's ok because it makes them look bigger! lol

Recommended...... I'm glad I got this egg for Easter and will deffo look out for the same one next year for my Aunt who loves dark chocolate nearly as much as I do!!!

Summary: Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!!!
