Snap them up to see for yourself.

I know! Another food related review but felt I had to do this as I'm not impressed with this product.
I brought a tub or pack (not sure which they are really)of these Cadbury snaps last week from the Co op as they were in the reduced section, Now I know why they were all there and had not been Snapped up, Snapped up get it? lol never mind.

These snaps come in a cardboard tub type pack which upon opening reveals a long foil packet. Upon opening the foil packet you find approximately 36 snaps in a plastic tray with 3 sections each holding 12 snaps.
Each Snap is made of very thin delicate brittle chocolate which is curved shaped just like a Pringle. The chocolate contains tiny rice crispies therefore giving it a bumpy texture. When broken or bitten into it does make a snap noise but not the crackle and pop...
The chocolate has a caramel flavour to it but not overly strong.
I personally don't like these and this is coming from a chocoholic. I didn't like the texture from the rice crispie bits and found them really too thin to be enjoyable. I'm sure I'm going to get told by many that these are really nice now but they are not for me.
They can be brought from some supermarkets and many smaller stores too. They don't seem to be as easy to buy as most chocolate so I do wander if they are going to discontinue them. Found this out when researching the price....
Average cost for a tub is about 1.50. My tub was 78p reduced so guessing they had half priced it.
Snaps are also available in other flavours which are, plain chocolate, mint, orange and hazelnut.

I Could Easy Eat A Box Of These A Day

My mate brought 3 boxes of Cadburys Snaps last night when her and another friend came round to keep me company while I babysat my little sisters.

One of the boxes was the Caramel flavour and they were delicious. The Snaps are curvy just like Pringles only they are made of milk chocolate that looks a bit nobbly because there are pieces of crisped rice mixed in with the chocolate.

They are caramel flavoured all through the chocolate curve and haven't actually got any caramel in them. As soon as you open the foil wrapping the smell of rich chocolate and very sweet caramel comes out and it smells delicious. THe flavour is wicked, a smooth creamy chocolate that has been mixed with a strong toffee flavour.

These are loads sweeter than the mint ones I tried for the first time last night too. The caramel flavour makes them less posh tasting than the mint ones and I think I could eat this flavour more often than any of the others because even though they have got a strong flavour they're not heavy to eat. The mint ones got a bit sickly after I'd ate a few but the caramel ones I kept dipping my hand into the box and know I got more than my fair share of these!

The chocolate is very smooth and melts quick in my mouth and this makes the Snaps seem loads richer than they should being so thin. They do make a snapping noise when you bite into them because the chocolate is brittle but with this flavour I put the whole thing into my mouth and let it melt because that made the sweet caramel flavour come through better for some reason.

I love these Snaps and will deffo buy them again. They are £1.59 for about 30 thin chocolates and they are worth that just for the lovely texture without even thinking about the taste because the smooth and creamy chocolate goes soooooo good with the crispy rice pieces and the whole thing is just yummy.

Thin wedges of Cadbury milk chocolate with crispy cereal pieces for added crunch.
