Advantages: Taste great, good idea, quality biscuit/cookie

Disadvantages: Nothing really

I bought a packet of these to use at my son's 6th birthday party yesterday. Inside of emptying them out into dishes and letting 10 hyperactive kids loose on some chocolate covered cookie biscuits, we gave them out as prizes for winning games, telling them they had to keep them and take them home. Considerate, huh?

I bought a decent sized bag. You get 8 mini bags of these animal shaped choc biscuits that are more like cookies really. Each bag has an animal theme to it, such as Gemma Elephant, Mojo Monkey, Leroy Lion, Tiff Tiger and Zippo Hippo (obviously had trouble with names for Hippos there, then!). Each mini pack is 25g, which is just right for a snack sized treat, and what I like about these is that you get a little choc, a bit more cookie (probably about 8 in each packet) and they're made appealing to kids by the animals on them. They're all the same shape, with the image of the animal on them, and the packet itself is quite colourful, appealing and reflective with the wrapping.

Nutritionally, each packet has 120 calories, and 17g or so of carbs, of which 7g are sugar. They taste really nice, and crumble easily in your mouth without doing so in the paccket itself. It's hard to just stop at eating one packet at a time as well, as they are really tasty, with the Cadbury's quality chocolate balancing well with some tasty and quality biscuit.

The biscuit itself is not advertised as a cookie, but it's got that kind of solid yet crumbly consistency that cookies do, and so I regard them as a cookie. They're chunky as opposed to thin, and it's easy to scoff a whole packet and want more. The back of the packet actually gives you some facts about the animal involved (although there is no 'actual' animal invovled, is you see what I mean). For example, it tells you about a lion's eyesight being really good, or a hippo having a huge mouth. So, they're attempting to be informative at the same time as providing a nice treat snack for your kids as well.

Overall, I recommend these. Cadbury's tend to do things really well, and this is no exception. I liked the taste and packaging and texture, and will probably get them again. At £1 for a packet of 8 x 25g packets as well is a really good price. Recommended.
