Advantages: Great combination of milk chocolate and biscuit

Disadvantages: Too many and you could ruin your healthy diet

As I am a massive fan of Cadbury's chocolate and of biscuits in general, Cadbury's Chocolate Fingers are a perfect snack or treat for me. You can currently purchase a 125g box of these on the Tesco website for one pound which is a saving of just under fifty pence on the regular price. They are packaged in a box branded with the normal purple and white colour scheme often associated with this famous brand and so they are instantly recognisable as a quality product. Also printed on to the front are pictures of the tasty milk chocolate fingers all in a row. This packaging is recyclable but inside you will find the plentiful fingers displayed in a plastic tray with I suppose a plastic or cellophane covering, this serves to protect the biscuits and keep them fresh.

Each finger is roughly three inches in length and is crunchy crispy biscuit coated in a decent layer and covering of the lovely milk chocolate you would expect from the aforementioned manufacturer. Both parts to this snack really combine well and really complement each other to satisfy your craving for something sweet and tasty. I find I always enjoy them particularly if I eat them along with a drink of tea or a nice glass of milk.

One of the problems with these is that I can quite happily eat an entire box in the space of a few hours if that and obviously like any confectionery item they are not the healthiest of foods to eat. Just two fingers contain 60 calories and 3g of fat so if you are trying to eat healthily or you are watching your weight you will have to show immense self control not to eat a whole box like me otherwise it may set you back in your diet targets.

These are always really popular if placed on a plate or dish at an event like a children's party and I have seen them used to decorate and create really cool cakes in the design of something like a fort in the wild west, these are a fun, useful and most of all very tasty snacks but probably best enjoyed in moderation.

Summary: Great at break time with a mug of tea
