Cadbury Chocolate Pretzels Bag
Advantages: Good price while on offer
Disadvantages: Lack of chocolate
Anyone that knows me knows how much I have a weakness for chocolate. Trying new and anything different I just love it!
Cadbury - Chocolate Pretzels:
'Abrica Pretzel! From our chocolate mixing thingymajig! These crunchy little pretzels generously coated in Cadbury milk chocolate are ideal to share!'
I spotted these in my local Tesco's. They were on offer with a few other Cadbury bags of chocolate for only £1 each. Given that the normal chocolate bar is almost adding to a £1 these days. I found this good value.
There is an American brand called Flipz which are also pretzels coated in chocolate, they also do other coating. This is one of my favourite treats; however they are harder to get hold of unless you have an American sweet shop near or ordering online.
So when I spotted the England version I was a bit excited really. Sadly there was no need for my excitement! Although these are nice, they just didn't hit the spot like Flipz! For the size of the packet they come in you only really get around half a pack full, why is this always the case?!
Each pretzel is about the size of a 50 pence piece. Sadly for me the chocolate covering was rather to light. Now some people may prefer this on a pretzel but certainly not me. The coating is a light sweet milk chocolate, which easily melts away in the mouth.
Then the actual pretzel under the chocolate has a slightly salty taste with a nice crunch as you bite into it. I like to suck on these, doing so make the pretzel turn a little softer. But the combination of sweet and salty I rather like.
Packaging did catch my eye with its blue back ground and large white text. Cadbury has I think taken a more child friendly looking approach to its newer products. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just like it when products stick to there roots.

Price and Availability:
When I purchased mine they were on offer for just £1.00 per bag, normal selling price is around £2.00. I have also today spotted them in Asda for £1.00 also.
For me, I don't think I will be purchasing another pack. They were just ok in my eyes, but after Flipz these just couldn't compete.
Two out of five stars from me.
Thank you for reading.
