Advantages: Better combination of cream and chocolate to eggs
Disadvantages: None
I spotted these twisted bars in Iceland on Tuesday for 25p so having a peckish son so I picked up a couple. These usually retail at 45-50p so definitely thought it was worth trying It was pretty hard to miss in a metallic red and purple wrapper.
Cadbury's Crème egg twisted is exactly what is says on the packet.
I do like Cadbury's crème egg but can find them quite messy and have never given one to my son as I think it would be far to difficult for him to manage.
My son was delighted to have chocolate but he does love any chocolate generally so is not particularly reflective of the product. My son ate his first while sat in his buggy and ate all but the remaining of orange drool that was all round his mouth and on his trousers. It was definitely a hit for him.
I saved mine for when he was in bed. So hid it away in the fridge It is sealed in a foil wrapper .When opened it is ribbed chocolate bar which is the usual colour of Cadbury's chocolate. When you bite through the initial taste is the traditional creamy dairy milk chocolate followed by an extremely sweet fondant. The white and yellow fondant is quite runny so eat with caution. I actually found the balance between the fondant and the chocolate worked particularly well. I did enjoy my bar it was big enough to fill a real sweet treat craving. I do find that I prefer them to Cadbury's crème eggs as I find the fondant in the eggs can be a bit overpowering. I would quite happily eat another and so would my son.
Each bar contains
210cals
9.4g Fat
Although this obviously isn't great but when you are eating a chocolate bar it is hardly for health or to meet your nutritional needs.
This is a chance to get a little bit of Easter without looking a little Easter egg obsessed.
There is a website connected to this product but seems a little confusing and doesn't really contain any information about the product but feel free to check it out
