Advantages: Delish milk chocolate egg; Thick chocolate
Disadvantages: The Crunchie bars! lol
Thank god all our Easter eggs are nearly gone, we always end up with a stupid amount and even though I'm an adult because I still live at home I get my aunts and uncles buying me an egg when they bring my sister's Easter pressies down. I'm not complaining though! lol
I've never been mad keen on Crunchies and that's why I've left this one until more or less last out of all of them and I only ate the egg and 1 small Crunchie bar and shared the rest of the bars out. Easter eggs come in all different shapes and sizes now and I've seen quite a few different Crunchie eggs. The one I've got is quite a big egg and inside the packet there are 4 smaller than average Crunchie bars.
The chocolate egg is delish, it's proper Cadburys chocolate and tastes sooooooo yummy! The egg is quite thick and my fave part was the bottom of the egg because the chocolate seemed madly thick there and letting it melt in my mouth took a lot longer. The chocolate is majorly creamy and sweet, it tastes a lot like Dairy Milk chocolate but you can tell when you're eating it that it's not quite. It melts lovely in your mouth and is a bit sickly after a bit, I ate less than half the Easter egg and then ended up feeling a bit pukey and that was a bit of a shocker because I can usually eat chocolate FOREVER before it makes me feel sick! lol
The Crunchie bars are just normal Crunchies only smaller. They're not mini sized but I reckon they're probably just over half the size of a Crunchie you'd buy in the shops. Crunchies will rot the words teeth, they are sooooooo sweet and sugary that even someone like me who LOVES sweet and sugary food will find them a bit too much after a bit. They're made with a strip of honey comb and that is covered in milk chocolate, I enjoyed the bar I had that come with the Easter egg but this isn't the sort of chocolate bar I'd buy for myself.
This Easter egg would have cost about £3.99 based on the size of it, I know it's a bit late for this Easter now but Crunchie eggs have been available for as long as I've been alive so consider this an archived review ready for next year! pmsl!
Recommended...... but there are nicer Easter eggs out there!!!
Summary: I'm Not Mad On Crunchie Bars But The Egg Was Delish!
