Cadbury Crunchie Rocks
Although I may say I have more of a savoury tooth than a sweet one, recently I've been eating more sweet things. Perhaps it is to do with so many special offers on Chocolates at the moment that is swaying me, as I like a bargain and I also like new things.
I first saw these in the shops just a couple of weeks ago. I think it was Asda or Tesco and the price for the 175g bag costs around £1.80. although this was a new product the shop I seen them in wasn't giving a special offer price. I didn't pick them up, probably because the bag looked sort of small and I wasn't convinced it would be worth the money. When I was in Sainsbury's last week I saw these were on offer for £1 per bag. Although I hadn't tried them I ended up buying 2 bags as I decided that I would probably love them. I was right that I liked them as they were nice and tasty Chocolate and a nice new product to eat.
These were in an easy to open bag. You just ripped the top off them and it came off easy enough. The bag is a nice golden shiny colour with the Crunchie branding on the front and a little picture of the Crunchie Rocks.
When I opened the bag I saw that the Chocolates were quite small but there seemed to be a good amount of them. not sure why they are called Rocks, as they are more so flat.
So what are these? They are just like little Chocolate Cornflake cakes. They are flat on the bottom and are made up of little pieces of what does taste like Cornflakes with little lumps of Crunchie mixed through these and the whole lot is covered in Cadbury's Milk Chocolate. The lumps of Crunchie Honeycomb are quite large and quite hard but the flakes are that bit softer and it is nice with the harder and more softer bits through these. The covering of Chocolate is just right and all the ingredients go together jusr right.
Per 100g of these there is 500 calories and I would say it is easy enough to eat the whole bag in 1 go just by reaching for another one.
These are really nice and if you like Crunchies and other crispy things then you should like these.
