Advantages: A yummy choc bar
Disadvantages: None for me
I was in Sainsburys this morning picking up a few odds and ends for the weekend when I spotted Cadbury Crunchie four packs on offer for £1, I popped a pack in my basket.
Cadburys Crunchie come in a shiny gold plastic wrapper, the front shows the brand and product name along with the claim that this is a "milk chocolate bar with golden honeycombed centre."
General information is given on the back including ingredients, storage and nutritional guides / tables. Cadburys advise us to be "treat wise" and enjoy eating this chocolate bar as part of a healthy varied diet and active lifestyle. They are suitable for vegetarians.
The Crunchie bar itself is quite substantial in size and has a nice chunky feel to it, it weighs 40g. The chocolate is classic cadbury, it is deliciously smooth and melts in the mouth, it is also the perfect amount, being neither too thick or too thin. The honeycomb centre is a beautiful orange colour and it certainly tickles the taste buds, it is very sweet and...well...crunchy! The flavour work really well together.
Personally I like to eat my Crunchie bar bite at a time, ensuring I get a good mixture of the chocolate and honeycomb together. My daughter likes to nibble all the chocolate from around the edge before eating the honeycomb centre all by itself. Either way, its truly yummy.
I really enjoyed my Crunchie chocolate bar and it certainly gave me that Friday feeling, its the full five Dooyoo stars from me.
Summary: Well.....it is Friday
