Advantages: Tastes amazing, cheap, just purely lovely!

Disadvantages: none

I recently bought the limited edition of this chocolate bar in Boots. It was about £1.32 reduced to a £1 so I thought I'd try one. I am a big fan of chocolate and Cadbury's is one of my favourite brands. Cadbury is probably one of the most well known chocolate brands and has been around for years.

The packaging on this chocolate was one of the first things that attracted me to it. It comes in a fancy cardboard box decorated with lilac and gold swirls at the top and bottom. There's a picture of the chocolate on the front that just looks lovely with some grated chocolate next to it which pretty much sold it to me. The cadbury dairly milk logo is big on the front so it's easy to recognise as a cadbury brand.

When you open the box, the chocolate is wrapped in gold foil and sealed for freshness. My first reaction to the gold foil was "I've won the golden ticket!" as this chocolate does acutally remind me of the chocolate in the willy wonka film. The chocolate itself if divided into big squares, I think there was 10 of them though I'm not sure as I've eaten it now.

The chocolate is lovely. It's like normal cadbury chocolate with chocolate truffle inside. The soft and hard texture mixed together is really nice and mouth watering. It is very sweet inside so had quite a rich taste. It was lovely. I did share the chocolate with my grandson who loved it too, despite being tempted to hide and eat it to myself. It is good to share as the squares are easy to break off.

Per 100g the chocolate contains 565 calories which is quite a lot, but for a guilty treat, it's worth it. There is 37.33g of fat, which again is high, so I try not to read this information until I've eat it.

The date on the bar is for 2012, so these chocolates make an ideal stocking filler for christmas as they are delicious. I've already bought another couple to put away for the grandchildren.

I can't say a bad thing about this chocolate. It's mouthwateringly delicious and isn't ridiculously expensive so I can't recommend it more for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Summary: A lovely festive treat.
