What is it ?

Ok so at the end of the day it's a chocolate bar, but more than that, I'd say it's the most recognized chocolate bar and a very iconic piece of Britain (within food retail, it's up their with Heinz and the rest of them in my opinion). It has the Royal logo on the packaging which says 'as appointed to by her royal highness; which means this company have supplied it's products for the royals for at least 5 years. It's recently become 'official treat provider' of the London 2012 Olympics and they now have the 'fair trade' logo on the front of the packaging also. It's a product which lots of generations would have grown up, and although the packaging would have changed lots, the product is still how every knows and expects it to be.
Now here comes the scary bit, only 3 chunks contains 80 calories 'ouch'!

Were can I get it ?

Dairy Milk can be pretty much bought anywhere, from vending machines, cafe's, petrol stations. They come in a variety of sizes and they often jump on the sales bandwagon by bringing out promotional items around Christmas, Easter and valentine's day ect. Because this product is produced by Cadbury, they even have a very famous factory in Birmingham in which you can look around at all its chocolate goodness; I haven't been here myself personally, but it seems like a fun day out.
Not only do you need to decide were to buy your chocolate from, but also what size do you want, they offer quite a variety. Tiny packed lunch snack size, medium sizes that often come in packs of 3, your standard petrol station or vending machine bar. You then start getting bigger and more into your sharing sizes; theres so much choice.

Overall Opinion

I used to always always be a Galaxy girl, however recently I have been more tempted with Dairy Milk. It's creamy texture is very moreish, I personally love eating this followed by a glass of ice cold milk, as I feel this compliments it beautifully, or I even sometimes dip it into a hot cup of tea, so it gets a little bit melted (aww bliss). Dairy Milk is the original and plainest item from the line which Cadbury have made, other items include Dairy Milk ... whole nut, fruit & nut ect; but for me it's this golden bar all the way.
Overall a great traditional chocolate bar for a great price, sizes for all the family.
