I wonder who invented chocolate in the first place? And whether or not they realised it was so addictive? And if they looking down on us laughing their heads off at us all for so compulsively ramming it down our throats at every possible opportunity? Just some random thoughts as I contemplate my almost total addiction to chocolate. All chocolate; practically *ANY* chocolate! (Mind you, I'd rather be addicted to chocolate than booze, which was my addiction until I got sense and gave it up nearly thirty years ago!) Anyways, here's a lovely wee chocolate treat that seems to have been around since Noah first began loading the animals into the Ark. ...  Read the complete review

Buttons have been around since 1960 and I am pretty sure that everyone has at some pont in there life had a packet of chocolate buttons. I have not eaten them for along time until today. A party treat for the kids but I couldn't resist and I wasn't disappointed. Buttons are made with Fairtrade cocoa and fresh milk. The buttons come in a sealed purple package the size of my hand and have a variety of cartoon style pictures on it. They can sometimes be tricky to open I have on a couple of occasion ripped and had them fly out the packet so be careful on opening. These buttons are made by Cadbury and come in a variety of sizes the ones I had ...  Read the complete review

What's wrong James? "Can-can-can-can I have those chocolate buttons I have seen in your cupboard??!" - Of course you can James! This was a conversation I had yesterday with my five year old cousin, and it takes me back to when I was his age asking my Mum pretty much the same thing. Cadbury's buttons have long been a staple in our household, and many households alike, since their introduction in 1960. I find it amazing that they have been around so long, and there has to be a reason they have stood the test of time! As well as being a delicious treat for kids, since growing up and getting interested in cake making, I have found they are ...  Read the complete review

Cadbury's milk chocolate Buttons remind me of my chilhood, I would always have a packet of these on a Friday after school. I seen them in the shop yesterday so I thought I would pick up a packet for myself and my little cousin. The milk chocolate Buttons come in a deep purple 30g bag and has a picture on the front. They used to feature illustrated nursery rhymes but now they have a picture of a owl, cat, panda, monkey or pig on them. The Buttons have become very popular in the UK and they are very popular with children too! Each Button is made from smooth and sweet Cadbury chocolate, they are round and flat (shaped like a small button). These ...  Read the complete review

Cadbury's Buttons Milk Chocolate: Cadbury's milk chocolate buttons: small treat, big taste (318 words)
by - written on 28/05/10 (Very useful, 232 readings)
Rating:

Cadburys milk chocolate buttons consist of small button shaped pieces of cadbury's milk chocolate. Since their introduction in 1960 they have proved extremely popular both in the UK and Ireland, with the range now including not only the standard 33 gram packs but also multipacks, and larger bags of 65 and 145 grams. There are also button ice creams, giant buttons and white chocolate varieties. Expect to pay around 40 pence for a standard bag and £2 for a 6 pack of ice creams. A standard pack of buttons comes in a purple (easy to open) bag with Cadburys written in yellow at the top and buttons in white. Underneath there used to be illustrations from nursery ...  Read the complete review
