Advantages: smooth, creamy diary milk chocolate, a childhood reminder
Disadvantages: nothing
I am a big fan of Cadbury's chocolate and although it is not the highest in cocoa content there is something about the creamy taste that I just love. When I was a child I can remember being purchased Cadbury's dairy milk buttons on a regular basis and I will admit that I still love them now.
Cadbury's dairy milk buttons come in various sized packets from the smaller ones you get in multi-bags to larger packs and even giant buttons. The last packet I had was out of a multi-pack which currently retails at £2.46 and contains 187g of buttons split into mini bags.
The buttons come packaged in the plastic bags which are the traditional Cadbury's deep purple colour. On the front of the bag there is usually a printed character as these are marketed at children and also the Cadbury's dairy milk logo. On the back of the bag you can find ingredients listings, nutritional information and allergy advice. The bags are also really easy to open by just pulling each side away from each other to reveal the buttons inside.
The buttons are small round discs of Cadbury's dairy milk chocolate and are smooth on the top and have textured bottom printed with the Cadbury's logo. As soon as you open the bag of buttons you can smell the distinctive Cadbury's dairy milk creamy, sweet chocolate.
I like to keep my chocolate at room temperature rather than in the fridge as I think it makes it melt in your mouth and taste much creamier. The buttons are great for a little occasional treat for small children as the individual buttons pop into your mouth easily and begin to melt almost immediately. The chocolate has a lovely smooth and creamy taste which is very addictive and I can easily polish of a few bags of these. I also use the buttons in baking to decorate cakes and also trifles as they are easy to scatter on the top of cream or icing.
Personally I love the taste of Cadbury's buttons they certainly remind me of childhood and are another way to enjoy the great creamy taste of dairy milk.
Summary: Another great product from Cadbury's
